The team's activities for creating neuropsychological tests suitable for the Greek language and culture, along with the corresponding normative data, are nearing 10 years.

In these years, original neuropsychological tests have been developed, existing foreign tests have been adapted into Greek, and normative data for other foreign tests have been collected without significant changes. Our efforts have yielded many "academic" fruits in the form of scientific papers published in international and Greek journals.

We hope that these works will contribute to a better understanding of the cognitive mechanisms that malfunction in certain neurological and psychiatric disorders. However, equally important as the published works are the tools themselves, some of which have already been channeled into the research field of neuropsychology in Greece.

With the training of more neuropsychologists in Greece, these tools will now be very useful in clinical practice as well. I am happy that we are now able to organize all this material and make it more widely available.
