    Like all range hoods, care is needed during installation. This particular one requires washing the metal filter whenever the light button flashes, which is an indication of dirt accumulation. If you ignore it and let it keep flashing, at some point the third speed will stop working and it may eventually stop working altogether. So, if used properly, this range hood is very good. In an open kitchen, it performs excellently, minimizing cooking odors to the bare minimum.
