Consists of the reissue of 2 older versions of the well-known Final Fantasy series, the Final X version and the Final X-2 version, which is set exactly 2 years after the first. The differences with the original versions of these 2 games are quite a few and mainly focus on the graphical aspect with improved character and texture models, improved lighting and shading, as well as improved cutscenes. Overall, the entire game has been upgraded from SD to full HD resolution and "played" with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.
The reissue is based on the international versions of the originals, which had some extras that were not included in the Latin American and European versions, such as the option of a Sphere Grid, new optional Bosses, and new abilities. In addition, it includes a separate mission (Last Mission) that was only released in the Japanese market, which adds new dresspheres, a monster creation system, the Coliseum, and a new Dungeon (Lutyryc Tower).
In terms of sound, both games have improved dialogues and the total of 60 musical pieces is of better quality. Finally, Kazushige Nojima wrote Final Fantasy X -Will-, a new episode for the high-resolution reissue that consists of a 30-minute audio drama at the end of the credits, which includes new actors and character dialogues. The drama takes place one year after the events of X-2, in which no specific event stands out, but it provides information about the lives of the protagonists, while being purely audio to leave the fans' imagination free.
