Description

In 1962, the Cold War has engulfed the nation with fear. A highly secretive government unit, known as The Bureau, begins to investigate a series of mysterious attacks from an enemy stronger than communism.

As Agent Carter, shoot, pull the trigger, and lead your team in a groundbreaking third-person tactical game set in a secret war to protect humanity from an extraterrestrial enemy.

What you think you know about your enemy is about to change. A deceptive and invisible enemy has emerged in America and threatens to destroy the American Dream. This is not the invasion Americans would expect.

This is not about any army or battlefield. Join the fight of humanity against an unknown enemy and step into the shoes of William Carter, an FBI agent tasked with identifying and eliminating this mysterious threat at any cost.

Players will need to devise a plan that consists of daring tactical actions to survive in situations that balance on a razor's edge. The story of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is told from a first-person perspective, and players will have thrilling combat experiences that will test their mechanics.

  • The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is a tactical shooter developed by 2K Marin. The game is a prequel to the origin of the famous XCOM unit.
  • The action takes place during the Cold War, in 1962. A series of mysterious attacks draw the attention of the government, leading to the formation of a secret unit known as The Bureau.
  • Play as Agent Carter, the first man responsible for defending the nations against an enemy far greater than anyone could have imagined at that time.
  • The atmosphere in the United States is quite tense due to the Cold War; however, when an extraterrestrial threat appears, everything escalates to a new level.
  • The Bureau: XCOM Declassified skillfully balances between a shooter and a strategic game, with elements from both involved in the battles.
  • You will face a wide range of alien enemies as soon as you hit the desk key; some are easy targets, while others require teamwork to take down a single unit.

Very good action and tactics game, in the style of mass effect. The differences are that it is more than an fps, as it includes several tactical options in battle. On the other hand, the story is short and does not have many alternatives. So it ends relatively quickly, in about 15 hours with all the side quests. Nice gameplay, graphics, and sound. Overall, it is very well-made and worth its money.

Underrated and very good for its price. I liked it more than the mass effect
