Higher Frequencies
The DDR5-4800 U-DIMM memory module offers stunning frequencies of up to 4,800 MT/s, a huge leap compared to DDR4 modules (3,200 MT/s). With built-in Error Correction Code (ECC) technology, it provides automatic real-time error correction, enhancing stability and reliability.
Double the Capacity
The architecture supports more bank groups and memory banks, doubling the capabilities compared to DDR4 modules, offering significantly larger capacities.
DDR5 vs DDR4 – Appearance
DDR5 U-DIMM modules have the same dimensions and pin count as DDR4. The most significant difference is the position of the safety notch, and the I/O resistors are integrated with CMD/ADD resistors. The PMIC integrated circuit is visible in the center.
DDR5 vs DDR4 - Chip Architecture
DDR5 modules provide double the capacity by hosting more banks and bank groups. The package duration and pre-fetch have also been doubled, while Error Correction Code (ECC) technology ensures data integrity.
DDR5 Performance vs DDR4
The significant increase in bandwidth and frequency is the biggest change. ADATA DDR5 modules support frequencies up to 4800 MT/s and bandwidth of 38.4 GB/s, 50% higher compared to DDR4-3200 modules. The maximum frequency is 1.63 times higher than DDR4.
