I bought this soldering iron for amateur use.
Among its advantages are its relatively short heating time and the very high temperature it achieves, its relatively sturdy construction, its high-quality cable with the plug that provides safety and a strong connection to the socket where you place it, and the replaceable tip.
Among its disadvantages is the length of the cable, as in such a type and thickness of cable, this length is impractical and makes it difficult to securely place it on the small base.
Also, the temperature of 500+ ℃ is extremely excessive for small boards and components, resulting in melted wires and damaged board contacts. The solution is to unplug the soldering iron from the socket when it reaches a safe temperature (possibly adding an extension with a switch). In conclusion, if you believe you need a soldering iron for "heavy-duty" soldering, I believe this one will satisfy you. However, if you mainly plan to use it on small boards, a preferable option might be a soldering iron with selectable or adjustable temperature.
