Chrotech Ultraxyl Aqua water-based impregnating varnish protects and decorates wooden structures indoors and outdoors, such as doors, frames and windows. It is water-soluble and acrylic-based, dries quickly and enhances the wood’s natural appearance, while providing scratch resistance and being virtually odourless during application.
Apply with a brush, felt roller or spray gun in 2–3 coats. Lightly sand the surface and remove dust between coats. Dilute the first coat with water by up to 10% by volume; apply subsequent coats undiluted. It dries in 50 ± 10 minutes, can be recoated after 3.5 ± 0.5 hours, and the third coat should be applied after 10 hours. Clean tools immediately after use with soap and water.
