Made of aluminum, they look very high quality and more expensive than their price! It comes with 2 lights but someone with basic electrical knowledge can easily do it with one light or however they want.. The installation is very easy except for the little screws that hold the body onto the bases, which are small and close to the ceiling so they are a bit difficult to install! Also, the total weight even with the bulbs is so light that it can be comfortably installed on drywall even if there is no stud behind it..
