Chromotech Ultraxyl Aqua woodstain protects and decorates wooden structures indoors and outdoors, such as doors, frames and windows. It is water-based, acrylic-based and practically odourless during application. It enhances the natural appearance of wood and offers scratch resistance.
Apply with a brush, felt roller or spray gun in 2–3 coats. Dilute the first coat with water by up to 10% by volume; apply subsequent coats undiluted. The surface dries in 50 ± 10 minutes and can be recoated after 3.5 ± 0.5 hours. Wait 10 hours before applying a third coat. Coverage is 9.5 ± 1.5 m²/L per coat, depending on the type of wood and its absorbency. Before application, sand and clean the surface. Lightly sand between coats and remove any dust. Clean tools immediately after use with soap and water.
