Description

Camera

  • 12MP Ultra-Wide Camera that expands your viewfinder
  • 50MP Wide Camera Sensor that brightens your shots
  • 10MP Telephoto Lens with 3x Optical Zoom

Nightography

Your camera detects when you are in the dark and the 23% larger pixel sensor takes action (compared to the Samsung Galaxy S21). The pixels are grouped together and converted into a larger pixel, allowing more light to pass through for brighter photos. Low-noise processing is then activated for sharper results. The camera glass limits lens flare from lights in the dark by up to 98%.

Night Portraits

Capture portraits in low light and selfies thanks to the upgrades in the Rear Camera and the Selfie Camera. Each captures more light for vibrant color and detail — so you can become an expert in low-light Portrait mode.

Adaptive Pixel

Adaptive Pixel intelligently switches between the high-resolution 50 MP mode and the high-sensitivity 12 MP mode depending on the lighting. It can also use both modes simultaneously and quickly merge the frames for bright, sharp photos effortlessly.

Screen

Infinity-O 120Hz screens are made with Dynamic AMOLED 2X with Vision Booster technology for high visibility outdoors, resulting in clear displays in daylight or at night.

Battery

  • Super Fast Charging 25W
  • Wireless PowerShare: Lend a friend battery life or place your smartwatch or earbuds on the back for quick wireless charging.

Durability

  • The screen and the back panel are equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, which is more resistant to drops and scratches.
  • Armor Aluminum frame for drop protection.
  • IP68 certification means that your smartphone is built to withstand water and dust, such as if someone calls you while you are in the middle of a workout or if it starts to rain while you are waiting for a taxi.

  • It is an excellent phone, 8K photos, the battery does not last, not better than the Redmi Note 11S 4G.
Update 10/25/24: The battery is terrible; when it's at 70%, it says it will last only 7 hours. Overall, it's good

After 2.5 years, I can say that the phone never lags and is extremely fast. Very nice display and good photos, just what you expect from a flagship. Also, the size is very convenient. The only downside is its poor battery, which significantly drops in endurance after six months. However, it charges quickly, so that somewhat balances it out. It is worth the money, but in the year 2024, there are definitely better options. I will keep it a bit longer until Samsung releases something more enticing.

I come from a Huawei Mate 10 Pro, which was still wonderful in every way even after 4+ years of use. I hadn't used a Samsung since the Note 1, which I remember being overloaded with features. After telling my life story, I have to say SHAME on the S22 for its battery, which has dropped to 16% by 6pm with only 4G on (5G turned off to save battery). Everything else is closed - GPS, NFC, BT, etc... I can't imagine how they can produce it with such a battery. The fingerprint reader is bad, but everything else is okay.

I had the s5, s7, and s10. As soon as I got my hands on this thing, I said I wouldn't approach this company again. The phone just... keeps freezing, a lot. I've even done a reset hoping it would help. Gaming is impossible. Its price shouldn't be over 350, let alone the 700 I paid for it. It's inferior to the previous 3 devices I had. The s5 still works in daily use with fewer problems than the s22. It's really unbelievable. This mobile is so bad, I have no words. Only frustration. I've had it since June and I'm holding on. I just hope it's just problematic...

I got it to try it out in white.. amazing camera, screen, sound! Battery is mediocre, I would say.. unfortunately, I will stick with the Exynos processor. It's just terrible compared to the Snapdragon G1. Finally, from now on, the S series will come with Snapdragon!
