The Fallkniven CC4 sharpening stone has two ceramic sides: a gray side made from synthetic sapphires, and an extremely smooth white side for polishing the edge. The gray side removes burrs, while the white side is used for finishing. No oil or water is needed during sharpening.

The stone comes with a leather pouch, the back of which serves as a leather strop. Clean it occasionally with warm water and liquid soap.
