Suggested activities:

• Give the children the triangular cards and the plastic shapes and ask them to place them in the correct position on the card.
• Give a child a triangular card and ask them to draw its outline on white paper and cut it out. Then ask them to cut it into smaller shapes and color them. They can reassemble any pieces they want and design a different shape.
• They can cut the triangle in half and fill both halves with plastic shapes so that they are symmetrical.
• Give the children different shapes and ask them to fill them with the smaller plastic shapes.
• Group the plastic Pattern Blocks based on shape and color.
