It is a really good monitor with very good image quality, very nice depiction of characters, for example in Word, web, etc. The KVM is worth every penny. Fortunately, I didn't see the backlight bleed that some mention. The only perhaps negative is the 60Hz, but for office work, it's top-notch.

I've had it for 2-3 weeks now, connected to a Macbook Pro M1 Pro. I’m coming from another Dell that I bought in 2018, and the upgrade is definitely noticeable. Much better scaling on MacOS than the previous one; everything is crisp (**see edit). In the previous one, for example, the letters in the browser menu were a bit weird, in the U2723QE they are perfect, at the default settings it gave me. It’s supposed to be calibrated from the factory, but you can do even better. With a special machine. I tried to do the calibration myself with instructions from the internet and I made a complete mess. Everything turned blue. The default settings are just fine. Personal opinion: The brightness needs to be at 80% instead of the 75% it is at by default. It has many Color Spaces to choose from, Adobe RGB, DCI P3, etc., I’ve left it at default. I have it mounted on an arm (in the photo it looks crooked, it’s not, and those that look like little feet on the left and right are lights), so I have no opinion on the rotations, etc., nor do I need them. Now, regarding the blacks, it’s definitely not total black like OLED level, but it’s much better than the previous one I had. You can see the difference that Dell advertises. On a completely black screen, there is of course light bleed on the bottom side, but that’s the fate of all IPS-LCD screens. It could be a click cheaper, but it’s one of Dell’s most sought-after monitors, so obviously, its price remains high. It also has a whole hub on the back, with so many ports that you get lost. The thing with monitors in the professional sector is that to get a "fantastic" monitor you need at least 1,800 euros for the Apple Studio (if not thousands of euros for even better ones) which, yes, has "only 60hz" but anyone who has seen it up close knows what image it has, so for the 580 euros I paid, I am satisfied. Any market research I did online for a 27-inch monitor for Macbook, budget-friendly, all led to this monitor and I agree with them. I am pleased with the purchase.
Edit: For the absolute "crisp" image (I’m talking about MacOS) you need a resolution of 2048 × 1152 in the system settings. The Macbook renders at 4096 × 2304 and 2048 × 1152 is exactly half. Search Google for more information on the subject. Also, for the connection Mac - monitor, USB-C to DisplayPort cable. DisplayPort supports full RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling while HDMI supports 4:2:0. (The cable is for professionals who care about the accuracy of the color HEX. For media consumption and gaming, it doesn’t matter at all.)
P.S. The USB-C to USB-C is not guaranteed to run RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. The safest bet is USB-C to DisplayPort.
Την έχω 2-3 βδομάδες τώρα, συνεδεμένη σε Macbook Pro M1 Pro. Έρχομαι απο μία άλλη Dell που την είχα πάρει το 2018 και η αναβάθμιση είναι σαφέσταστη. Πολύ καλύτερο scaling σε MacOS απο την προηγούμενη, όλα είναι crisp (**δες edit). Στην προηγούμενη, π.χ., τα γράμματα στο μενού του browser ήταν λίγο περίεργα, στην U2723QE είναι τέλεια, στο default settings που μου έβγαλε. Υποτίθεται ότι είναι calibrated απο το εργοστάσιο αλλά μπορείς και καλύτερα. Με ειδικό μηχάνημα. Εγώ πήγα να κάνω calibration μόνος μου με οδηγείες απο το ίντερνετ και έκανα μιά τρύπα στο νερό. Έγιναν όλα μπλε. Τα default settings είναι μιά χαρά. Προσωπική άποψη: Το brightness θέλει 80% απο 75% που είναι στο default. Έχει πολλά Color Spaces να διαλέξει κάποιος, Adobe RGB, DCI P3, κτλ, εγώ την έχω αφήσει στο default. Την έχω φορτώσει σε βραχίονα (στην φώτο φαίνεται στραβή, δεν είναι, κι αυτά που φαίνονται σαν ποδαράκια αριστερά και δεξιά είναι φωτιστικά), οπότε δεν έχω άποψη για τις περιστροφές κτλ, ούτε και τις χρειάζομαι. Για τα μαύρα τώρα, σίγουρα δεν είναι total black σε φάση OLED επίπεδο, αλλά είναι πολύ καλύτερη απο την προηγούμενη που είχα. Φαίνεται η διαφορά που διαφημίζει η Dell. Σε απόλυτα μαύρη οθόνη υπάρχει φυσικά bleed φωτός στην κάτω πλευρά, αλλά αυτή είναι η μοίρα με όλες τις IPS-LCD οθόνες. Θα μπορούσε να είναι ένα κλικ φθηνότερη, αλλά είναι απο τις πιό μοσχοπουλημένες οθόνες της Dell, προφανώς μένει ψηλά η τιμή της. Έχει και ολόκληρο hub απο πίσω, με τόσες υποδοχές που χάνεσαι. Το θέμα με τις οθόνες, στον επαγγελματικό τομέα, είναι πως για να πάρεις "τρομερή" οθόνη θες τουλάχιστον 1,800 ευρώ για την Apple Studio (αν όχι χιλιάδες ευρώ για καλύτερες ακόμα) η οποία ναι μεν "μόνο 60hz" αλλά όποιος την έχει δει απο κοντά ξέρει τι εικόνα έχει, οπότε, για 580 ευρώ που την πλήρωσα εγώ είμαι ευχαριστημένος. Όποια έρευνα αγοράς έκανα στο ίντερνετ για 27αρα οθόνη για Macbook, budget friendly, όλα κατέληγαν σ' αυτή την οθόνη και συμφωνώ και εγώ μαζί τους. Είμαι ευχαριστημένος απο την αγορά.

My experience with the Dell UltraSharp U2723QE was exceptional. The image quality is simply amazing, with vibrant colors and incredible detail thanks to the 4K UHD resolution and IPS Black technology that offers deeper blacks. Connectivity is another big plus, with USB-C, DisplayPort, and Ethernet ports that make my work much easier and more organized. Also, the ergonomics of the monitor are excellent – I can adjust the height, rotate it, and find the optimal position for my needs. Overall, the user experience is extremely pleasant, and this monitor has significantly upgraded my productivity.

The only negatives I find for compulsive people are:
1) When you want to turn it from horizontal to vertical position or vice versa, the base does not level! That is, it does not have a notch to understand if it is exactly 90 degrees vertical or 180 horizontal.
2) The button to enter the menu makes a lot of noise... the switch of the power strip I have, makes less..

Τα μόνα αρνητικά για ψυχαναγκαστικούς που βρίσκω είναι:
1) Όταν θες να την γυρίσεις από οριζόντια σε κάθετη θέση ή το αντίθετο, δεν αλφαδιάζει η βάση! Δηλαδή δεν κάνει κάποιο δόντι για να καταλάβεις αν είναι ακριβώς 90 μοίρες κάθετη ή 180 οριζόντια.
2) Το κουμπάκι για να μπεις στο μενού της κάνει πολύ θόρυβο…ο διακόπτης του πολύμπριζου που έχω, κάνει λιγότερο…
I bought it after extensive market research and I am satisfied. My biggest concerns before purchasing it were the response time, scaling for MacOs, and bleeding in the corners.
Ultimately, the response time doesn't bother me as a casual gamer (it goes down to 5ms even though the default is 8ms). Personally, I don't see any issues, but I have never had a gaming monitor to compare it to.
On Mac, I had to go with 1440p resolution because the native resolution had very small letters, but I don't think I noticed any difference in performance. You can also find analyses on YouTube about this, and it seems that performance is affected in very specific use cases to a small extent.
Although the bleeding in the corners exists, I don't see it in day-to-day use. It's definitely not a problem for me, but it is inevitable in these panels. However, in normal lighting, I never noticed anything. If you turn off all the lights and watch a very dark movie, then it might bother you.
Something that surprised me coming from a curved display is that with this particular flat 27-inch one, even after a month of use, I still haven't fully adjusted to it and the texts at the edges seem quite far from my line of sight. After 10 years of having the curved one, I finally appreciated it as a technology.
Other than that, the monitor is an excellent choice. Although you can find similar features at a lower price, I believe the reason why its price is €100-€150 higher is because of its USB hub. It has so many ports and at such a good speed (10Gbps) for most of them, that for a similar quality USB hub, you would need to spend around €300. I know this because I have extensively researched top USB hubs. With this monitor, I can finally connect everything and they all work flawlessly, something I couldn't achieve for so many years with mid-range hubs. I have connected 3 hard drives and around 10 more peripherals, all at the same time, and they all work without any issues! The headache of peripherals not working due to low bandwidth has finally ended! And all of this by simply connecting the monitor to my Mac with a "regular" USB-C cable, which also charges at the same time.
In conclusion, if you need a 4K, 27-inch monitor with a powerful USB hub like me, this specific monitor is a top choice. Otherwise, you can go for a cheaper 4K option.
Την αγόρασα μετά από μεγάλη έρευνα αγοράς και είμαι ευχαριστημένος. Οι μεγαλύτερες ανησυχίες μου πριν την πάρω ήταν το response time, το scaling για MacOs και το bleeding στις γωνιές.
Τελικά το response time για μένα ως casual gamer δεν με ενοχλεί (κατεβαίνει στα 5ms παρόλο που σαν default έχει τα 8ms). Προσωπικά δεν βλέπω κανένα πρόβλημα, αλλά δεν είχα και ποτε gaming monitor για να συγκρίνω.
Στο Mac αναγκαστικά πήγα σε 1440p resolution γιατί στο native είναι πολύ μικρά τα γράμματα, αλλά δεν νομίζω ότι είδα καμία διαφορά στο performance. Μπορείτε να δείτε και αναλύσεις στο YouTube περί αυτού, το performance επηρεάζεται σε πολύ συγκεκριμένα use cases απ ότι φαίνεται και σε μικρό βαθμό.
Το bleeding στις γωνιές παρότι υπαρκτό, day to day δεν το βλέπεις. Σίγουρα δεν είναι πρόβλημα για εμένα αλλά ούτως ή άλλως είναι αναπόφευκτο σε αυτά τα panels. Πάντως σε κανονικό φωτισμό δεν παρατήρησα ποτε τίποτα. Αν κλείσεις όλα τα φώτα και δεις μια πολύ σκοτεινή ταινία, ίσως τότε να σε ενοχλήσει.
Κάτι που με ξένισε προερχόμενος από curved display, είναι ότι στην συγκεκριμένη flat που είναι και 27 ίντσες, ακόμα και τώρα μετά από έναν μήνα χρήσης δεν την έχω συνηθίσει ακόμα πλήρως και τα κείμενα στις άκρες μου φαίνονται αρκετά μακρυά από το βλέμμα μου. Μετά από 10 χρονια που είχα την curved, επιτέλους την εκτίμησα ως τεχνολογία.
Κατά τ αλλα η οθόνη είναι εξαιρετική επιλογή. Παρόλο που βρίσκεις παρόμοια χαρακτηριστικά σε χαμηλότερη τιμή, θεωρώ πως ο λόγος που η τιμή της είναι 100€-150€ τσιμπημένη είναι το usb hub της. Έχει τόσες πολλές υποδοχές και σε τόση καλή ταχύτητα (10Gbps) οι περισσότερες, που για παρόμοιας ποιότητας usb hub χρειάζεσαι περίπου 300€. Το ξέρω γιατί το έχω ψάξει παρά πολύ για top usb hub. Στην οθόνη αυτή για πρώτη φορά επιτέλους τα κουμπώνω όλα και παίζουν απροβλημάτιστα, κάτι που δεν είχα καταφέρει τόσα χρόνια με mid range hubs. Έχω βάλει 3 σκληρούς και καμία 10αρια ακόμα περιφερειακά, όλα ταυτόχρονα, και παίζουν όλα απροβλημάτιστα! Ο πονοκέφαλος των περιφερειακών που δεν έπαιζαν λόγω χαμηλού bandwidth επιτέλους τελείωσε! Και όλα αυτά μάλιστα συνδέοντας την οθόνη με Mac με ένα «απλό» usb c καλώδιο, το οποίο φορτίζει και ταυτόχρονα.
Εν κατακλείδι, αν χρειάζεστε 4K, 27αρα οθόνη με τούμπανο usb hub όπως εγώ, η συγκεκριμένη οθόνη είναι top επιλογή. Διαφορετικά μπορείτε να πάτε σε φθηνότερη 4K.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase I made. It is for office use and I wanted the text to be super clear, which it is. Also, the color coverage is 100% as far as I know, and indeed, with a MacBook next to it, the colors are exactly the same. It is also very user-friendly, thanks to the hub it has, which was also a reason for me since I have 3 computers. I give it 4 stars because the viewing angles are not that great, as the screen has glare and it tends to gray out if you go too far to the side. However, if you are in front of it or have a small viewing angle, it is perfectly fine. Also, anyone who has a MacBook should not be influenced by nonsense they read about scaling issues. The Mac OS gives you a bunch of options, and no matter what I chose, the image was crystal clear. The blacks, on the other hand, are terrible (see the photo I uploaded) because it is an IPS panel, but this particular screen is not intended for movies or gaming. I tried watching a movie, specifically the latest Batman, and the blacks were laughable. Okay, I have seen enough IPS panels, but this is by far the worst because there is no uniformity in the black levels. Considering the price, even though it is intended for office use by the company, I find it disappointing that you can't sit down and watch a movie if you want to. I didn't try it for gaming, but all the reviews I read say that it doesn't have as low of a response time as it should for gamers, and it is also 60hz. Of course, I think anyone who has consoles will be fine since the refresh rate doesn't go above 60, which I personally find sufficient. Hardcore PC gamers and cinephiles should definitely look elsewhere. In the end, for hardcore office users, it is perfect in my opinion (although with a steep price).
Γενικά είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος για τη χρήση που την αγόρασα. Είναι για χρήση γραφείου κ ήθελα το κείμενο να είναι super καθαρό που είναι. Επίσης η κάλυψη χρωμάτων είναι στο 100% από όσο ξέρω κ όντως με ένα MacBook από δίπλα τα χρώματα είναι ακριβώς τα ίδια. Πολύ εύχρηστο επίσης το hub που έχει που ήταν επίσης λόγος για μένα αφού έχω 3 υπολογιστές. Βάζω 4 αστέρια γιατί οι γωνιές θέασης δεν είναι τόσο καλές μιας και η οθόνη έχει glare αλλά κ γκριζίζει αρκετά αν πας πολύ πλάι. Αν πάλι είσαι μπροστά η έχεις μικρή γωνία θέασης είναι απολύτως οκ. Επίσης οποιος έχει MacBook ας μην επηρεαστεί από βλακείες που θα διαβάσει για προβλήματα με το scaling. Σου δίνει ένα σορό επιλογές το Mac OS που ότι και να επέλεξα η εικόνα ήταν κρύσταλλο. Τα μαυρα της είναι…υπερ χάλια (δείτε φωτογραφία που έχω ανεβάσει)…μιας και IPS panel αλλά η συγκεκριμένη οθόνη δεν προορίζεται για ταινίες ούτε για gaming. Έβαλα να δω μία ταινία και συγκεριμένα το τελευταίο Batman και τα μαύρα της ήταν για γέλια. Οκ έχω δει αρκετά IPS πάνελ αλλά αυτό είναι το χειρότερο με διαφορά γιατί δεν υπάρχει ομοιομορφία στο χάλι. Για τα χρήματα της παρόλο που προορίζεται από την εταιρία για office use το θεωρώ ξενέρα να μη μπορείς να κάτσεις να δεις μια ταινία αν χρειαστεί. Για gaming δε τη δοκίμασα αλλά όλα τα reviews που διάβασα λένε ότι δεν έχει τόσο χαμηλό response time όσο πρέπει για gamers αλλά κ είναι 60hz. Βέβαια νομίζω οποιος έχει κονσόλες θα είναι μια χαρά μιας και που το refresh rate δε φτάνει πάνω από 60 που το θεωρώ προσωπικά αρκετά. Οι hardcore PC gamers και cineφίλς θα πρέπει να κοιτάξουν άλλου σίγουρα. Εν τέλη για hardcore office users είναι κατ’ εμε τέλεια (αν και με τσιμπημένη τιμή).
Impressive on paper with a Contrast Ratio of 2000:1 (Measured from 1800:1 to 1200:1 in points with bleed) and its color coverage, and the amazing menu for switching between sRGB Rec709 and DCI-P3, but disappointment with its blacks and viewing angles. The viewing angles are mainly ruined in blacks, not in regular images with all tones. It also has a terrible SemiGloss coating which, as all reviews say, has a lot of reflection. Its hub is very convenient and the colors are very good. If you want it for casual use, it's okay, but problematic for image processing use.
Εντυπωσιακη στα χαρτια με το Contrast Ratio 2000:1 (Μετρημενο απο 1800:1 εως 1200:1 σε σημεια με bleed) και την καλυψη χρωματων της και το καταπληκτικο μενου για αλλαγη μεταξυ sRGB Rec709 και DCI-P3 αλλα μιζερια με τα μαυρα της και τις γωνιες θεασης. Οι γωνιες θεασης χαλανε κυριως στα μαυρα οχι σε κανονικες εικονες με ολους τους τονους. Επισης εχει χαλια SemiGloss επιστρωση που οπως λενε ολα τα reviews εχει παρα πολυ αντανακλαση. My use case involves 2 Macs connected to the same screen (1 MacBook & 1 Mac Mini). I considered getting a 27-inch 5K (LG or Studio Display) before settling on this specific monitor. The reasons, in addition to cost, are as follows:
Stand: Pretty good. As a long-time owner of Dell monitors, I see a small improvement in stability from the previous generation of Dell stands. It's obviously plastic, but with easy height/tilt/rotate adjustment. It does everything and isn't sold as an extra accessory (<3 Apple).
Ports: The main winner. A large selection of ports that drastically reduced the cables on my desk (goodbye dongles & switches). The hub is very convenient, you just need to make sure you have the right cables for 4K-60hz. I don't know if all the ports will be reliable in the long run, but I don't see why they wouldn't be. Solid construction. Note that both 5K monitors I mentioned earlier have only one set of USB-C/Thunderbolt ports.
Panel: Excellent 4K and easy on the eyes. I read a lot about 4K scaling on Macs. There is indeed a slight distortion in very small letters, but it's generally not a problem. Increasing the sharpness of the screen from the menu greatly improves the situation. Its colors are set correctly (although I'm not a professional in this area to judge with data), and it's definitely a powerful upgrade from the 2K monitor I had before (again, a U series Dell). I have no opinion on HDR & IPS black, but for the design use I need it for, it covers me 100%.
Overall: It would be perfect if it could render 2x without scaling as a 5K panel, but I concluded that it wasn't worth spending a lot of money or getting a 2016 model (poor in ports), and I think it was the right choice.
Although it's relatively expensive compared to other 4K monitors, it's a 2022 model and has Dell U series quality. VFM.
Το use case μου ειναι 2 mac συνδεδεμενα μαζι στην οθονη (1 macbook & 1 macmini). Εψαξα το ενδεχομενο να παρω μια 27 inch 5Κ (LG or Studio Display) πριν καταληξω στη συγκεκριμενη οθονη. Οι λογοι, παράλληλα με το οικονομικο, ειναι οι παρακατω:
Βαση: Αρκετα καλη. Ως κατοχος dell oθονών χρονια βλεπω μια μικρη ισως βελτιωση στο κουνημα απο την προηγουμενη γενια βασεων της Dell. Πλαστική προφανως, αλλα με ευκολη ρυθμιση υψους / tilt / rotate. Γενικα τα κανει ολα, και δεν πουλιεται ως εξτρα αξεσουαρ (<3 Apple).
Θυρες: Βασικο winner. Μεγαλη επιλογη θυρων που μειωσε δραστικα τα καλωδια στο γραφειο μου (goodbye dongles & switches). Το hub ειναι πολυ βολικο απλα πρεπει να βεβαιωθειτε οτι εχετε τα καταλληλα καλωδια για 4Κ-60hz. Δεν ξερω αν θα ειναι αξιοπιστες όλες οι θυρες σε βαθος χρονου, αλλα δεν βλεπω λογο να μην ειναι. Solid κατασκευη. Σημειώνω για τη διαφορά ότι και οι δύο 5Κ οθονες που ανεφερα παραπανω εχουν μονο μια τετραδα usbc/thunderbolt ports.
Πανελ: Εξαιρετικο 4Κ και ξεκούραστο. Για το 4Κ scaling σε mac ειχα διαβασει πολλα. Υπαρχει οντως μια μινι παραμορφωση σε πολυ μικρα γραμματα αλλα γενικα δεν ειναι προβλημα. Αυξανοντας λιγο το sharpness της οθονης απ το μενου της οθονης διορθωνεις κατά πολυ την κατασταση. Τα χρωματα του ειναι ρυθμισμενα σωστα (αν και δεν ειμαι επαγγελματιας σ αυτο το κομματι να κρινω με data), και ειναι σίγουρα πολυ δυνατο upgrade απο μια 2Κ οθονη που είχα πριν (πάλι U series Dell). Για HDR & IPS black δεν εχω αποψη αλλα για τη χρήση design που τη θέλω με καλυπτει 100%.
Γενικα: θα ηταν τελεια αν μπορουσε να κανει render 2χ χωρις scaling ως 5Κ πανελ, αλλα κατεληξα οτι δεν αξιζει να δώσω πολλά €€€€ παραπανω ή να πάρω ένα μοντέλο του 2016 (φτωχά σε θύρες) και νομίζω ήταν μια σωστή επιλογή.
Αν και σχετικά ακριβο προϊον σχετικά με άλλες 4Κ, ειναι μοντελο 2022 & έχει ποιότητα Dell U series. VFM.
An excellent monitor to pair with a Mac computer, whether we're talking about a Mac mini or Studio or a MacBook. I use it with my MacBook and so far it has been flawless. More specifically:
SCREEN:
I come from an iMac 27" 5K (late 2015) and I was a bit worried about how a 4K screen would look since the ppi (pixels per inch) drops from 218 to 163. So far I do see the difference, but it's not scary and I believe that as my eyes get used to it, I'll notice it less. Colors are extremely close to what I'm used to from its predecessor and there are many settings both from the computer and from the device's menu. Impressive brightness that hits 400 nits. A big negative is that it doesn't do well when there is light behind your back. Be careful with its placement.
FUNCTIONALITY:
Those of you with newer generation Macs, i.e. exclusively with Thunderbolt 3.0 ports, know what a "dongle" is. Here you can forget about it. On the back of the monitor, there is a fully functional hub with both USB A and USB-C ports as well as display ports. I haven't connected anything too demanding to the monitor, just a camera and my stylus, and they work flawlessly. The cool thing is that I've forgotten my MacBook charger in the drawer since the monitor also takes care of charging the computer with just one cable (90w). Just one cable for image, sound (I don't recommend it), data, and power transfer. I don't know how fast the ports are in terms of write speed as I haven't connected a drive to them. I have it directly on the computer to be sure. A negative is that access to the ports isn't very easy as they're on the back and quite high up near the VESA mount. However, they have placed a USB-C and a USB-A on the lower left side of the monitor for greater convenience.
ERGONOMICS:
Not much to say here. It has a nice, sleek stand with a hole in the middle for cables to pass through and keep things a bit tidier. The stand allows it to go up or down as needed, turn right or left, and of course rotate 90 degrees. A minor negative is that it moves with the slightest touch. For example, as I type, I see the screen having micro-vibrations.
CONCLUSION:
As I wrote at the beginning, it's an excellent product. Maybe more expensive than it should be since the build quality isn't anything amazing. It's just hard plastics. But the essence, the quality of the panel and how the hub on the back helps you have a setup with maximum connectivity options, make this monitor one of the top choices.
Update 15.01.26:
The monitor developed a vertical green line out of nowhere. The problem disappeared within a few hours, but having contacted Dell directly, they will proceed with a replacement immediately. So apart from the good support, the monitor had a 3-year warranty. No other function has been affected. The product remains flawless.

ΟΘΟΝΗ:
Προέρχομαι από iMac 27" 5K (late 2015) και με τρόμαζε λίγο το πως θα φαινόταν μια οθόνη 4Κ καθώς τα ppi (pixels per inch) πέφτουν από τα 218 στα 163. Μέχρι στιγμής βλέπω τη διαφορά μεν, δεν είναι τρομαχτική δε και πιστεύω πως όσο συνηθίζει το μάτι θα τη βλέπω λιγότερο. Χρώματα εξαιρετικά κοντά σε αυτό που έχω συνηθίσει από τον προκάτοχο και πολλές ρυθμίσεις τόσο από μεριάς του υπολογιστή όσο και από το μενού της συσκευής. Τρομαχτική φωτεινότητα που χτυπάει τα 400 nits. Μεγάλο αρνητικό το ότι δεν τα πηγαίνει καλά όταν υπάρχει φως πίσω από την πλάτη σας. Προσοχή στην τοποθέτησή της.
ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΚΟΤΗΤΑ:
Όσοι έχετε mac νεότερης γενιάς, δηλαδή αποκλειστικά με θύρες thunderbolt 3.0 γνωρίζετε τι εστί "dongle". Εδώ το ξεχνάτε. Στο πίσω μέρος της οθόνης υπάρχει ένα πλήρως λειτουργικό hub πάνω της τόσο με θύρες USB A όσο και με USB-C αλλά και display ports. Πάνω στην οθόνη δεν έχω βάλει κάτι πολύ απαιτητικό, μόνο μια κάμερα και τη γραφίδα μου και δουλεύουν απροβλημάτιστα. Η μαγκιά είναι ότι έχω ξεχάσει τον φορτιστή του macbook στο συρτάρι καθώς η οθόνη αναλαμβάνει και τη φόρτιση του υπολογιστή με ένα μόλις καλώδιο (90w). Ένα καλώδιο μόλις δηλαδή για μεταφορά εικόνας, ήχου (δεν το προτείνω), δεδομένων και ρεύματος. Δεν ξέρω πόσο γρήγορες είναι οι θύρες από θέμα εγγραφής καθώς δεν έχω βάλει δίσκο πάνω τους. Τον έχω απευθείας πάνω στον υπολογιστή για να είμαι σίγουρος. Αρνητικό μπορώ να πω πως είναι το ότι δεν είναι και πολύ εύκολη η πρόσβαση στις θύρες καθώς είναι μεν πίσω αλλά είναι αρκετά ψηλά κοντά στο vesa mount. Έχουν βάλει όμως μια USB-C και μια USB-A στο κάτω αριστερό μέρος της οθόνης για μεγαλύτερη ευκολία.
ΕΡΓΟΝΟΜΙΑ:
Εδώ δεν έχω πολλά να πω. Έχει ένα όμορφο κομψό stand με μια τρύπα στη μέση για να περνάνε τα καλώδια και να είναι λίγο πιο μαζεμένη η όλη φάση. Το stand της επιτρέπει να σηκώνεται ή να χαμηλώνει όσο πρέπει να γυρνάει προς τα δεξιά ή τα αριστερά και φυσικά να περιστρέφεται 90 μοίρες. Μικρό αρνητικό εδώ ότι κουνιέται με το παραμικρό. Δηλαδή όσο γράφω βλέπω την οθόνη να έχει μικρο-δονήσεις.
ΣΥΜΠΕΡΑΣΜΑ:
Όπως γράφω στην αρχή, είναι ένα εξαιρετικό προϊόν. Ίσως πιο ακριβό απ όσο θα έπρεπε καθώς η ποιότητα κατασκευής δεν είναι κάτι τρομερό. Είναι απλά σκληρά πλαστικά. Αλλά η ουσία του πράγματος, η ποιότητα του panel δηλαδή και το πως σε βοηθά το hub από πίσω να έχεις ένα setup με μέγιστες δυνατότητες συνδεσιμότητας καθιστούν αυτή την οθόνη στις κορυφαίες.
Update 15.01.26:
Η οθόνη εμφάνισε μια κάθετη πράσινη γραμμή από το πουθενά. Το πρόβλημα εντός λίγων ωρών εξαφανίστηκε αλλά έχοντας επικοινωνήσει απευθείας με τη Dell, θα προχωρήσουν σε αντικατάστασή της άμεσα. Οπότε πέραν του καλού support, η οθόνη είχε εγγύηση στα 3 έτη. Καμία άλλη λειτουργεία δεν έχει επηρεαστεί. Το προϊόν παραμένει άψογο.
Excellent quality. Coming from a Mac, I had a hard time getting used to the matte finish at first, but compared to Apple's $1.8K screen, it's definitely worth it!

Ideally, I would like better build quality, as it feels very plastic. Additionally, the menu has unacceptable UX. Finally, the connections on the back are somewhat hidden and not very convenient. Also, the packaging does not include an HDMI cable, which is unacceptable for its price.
There is the U2723QX model that includes the HDMI cable.

After about 1.5 years, it still works flawlessly (no sudden disconnections, pixelation, etc.) in all resolutions (4K, QHD, FHD) either with DP or HDMI (although DP is preferable).
In case the cables (DP, USB-C) that come with the product are NOT used, certified 4K cables should be used, whether they are HDMI (https://hdmi.org/spec/premiumcable) or DP (https://www.displayport.org/product-category/cables-adaptors/) to avoid any issues.
It goes without saying that the graphics card of the PC should also support 4K resolution (and of course have good drivers).
Its price has dropped to €600 and for what it offers, as well as its "quality" of construction (very plastic), it is a good value for money.

Μετά από 1μιση χρόνο περίπου, εξακολουθεί να δουλεύει απροβλημάτιστα (χωρίς ξαφνικές αποσυνδέσεις, "πιξέλιασμα" κ.τ.λ.) σε όλες τις αναλύσεις (4K, QHD, FHD) είτε με DP είτε με HDMI (αν και προτιμότερο είναι μέσω DP).
Σε περίπτωση που ΔΕΝ χρησιμοποιηθούν τα καλώδια (DP, USB-C) που συνοδεύουν το προϊόν, να χρησιμοποιηθούν καλώδια πιστοποιημένα για 4K, είτε είναι HDMI (https://hdmi.org/spec/premiumcable) είτε DP (https://www.displayport.org/product-category/cables-adaptors/) για να μην υπάρχουν προβλήματα.
Είναι αυτονόητο ότι θα πρέπει και η κάρτα γραφικών του Η/Υ να υποστηρίζει 4K ανάλυση (και φυσικά να έχει καλούς οδηγούς).
Η τιμή του έχει πέσει και μέχρι 600 € για αυτά που προσφέρει, όπως και την "ποιότητα" κατασκευής του (πολύ πλαστικό) είναι VFM.

It is a really good monitor with very good image quality, very nice depiction of characters, for example in Word, web, etc. The KVM is worth every penny. Fortunately, I didn't see the backlight bleed that some mention. The only perhaps negative is the 60Hz, but for office work, it's top-notch.

I've had it for 2-3 weeks now, connected to a Macbook Pro M1 Pro. I’m coming from another Dell that I bought in 2018, and the upgrade is definitely noticeable. Much better scaling on MacOS than the previous one; everything is crisp (**see edit). In the previous one, for example, the letters in the browser menu were a bit weird, in the U2723QE they are perfect, at the default settings it gave me. It’s supposed to be calibrated from the factory, but you can do even better. With a special machine. I tried to do the calibration myself with instructions from the internet and I made a complete mess. Everything turned blue. The default settings are just fine. Personal opinion: The brightness needs to be at 80% instead of the 75% it is at by default. It has many Color Spaces to choose from, Adobe RGB, DCI P3, etc., I’ve left it at default. I have it mounted on an arm (in the photo it looks crooked, it’s not, and those that look like little feet on the left and right are lights), so I have no opinion on the rotations, etc., nor do I need them. Now, regarding the blacks, it’s definitely not total black like OLED level, but it’s much better than the previous one I had. You can see the difference that Dell advertises. On a completely black screen, there is of course light bleed on the bottom side, but that’s the fate of all IPS-LCD screens. It could be a click cheaper, but it’s one of Dell’s most sought-after monitors, so obviously, its price remains high. It also has a whole hub on the back, with so many ports that you get lost. The thing with monitors in the professional sector is that to get a "fantastic" monitor you need at least 1,800 euros for the Apple Studio (if not thousands of euros for even better ones) which, yes, has "only 60hz" but anyone who has seen it up close knows what image it has, so for the 580 euros I paid, I am satisfied. Any market research I did online for a 27-inch monitor for Macbook, budget-friendly, all led to this monitor and I agree with them. I am pleased with the purchase.
Edit: For the absolute "crisp" image (I’m talking about MacOS) you need a resolution of 2048 × 1152 in the system settings. The Macbook renders at 4096 × 2304 and 2048 × 1152 is exactly half. Search Google for more information on the subject. Also, for the connection Mac - monitor, USB-C to DisplayPort cable. DisplayPort supports full RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling while HDMI supports 4:2:0. (The cable is for professionals who care about the accuracy of the color HEX. For media consumption and gaming, it doesn’t matter at all.)
P.S. The USB-C to USB-C is not guaranteed to run RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. The safest bet is USB-C to DisplayPort.
Την έχω 2-3 βδομάδες τώρα, συνεδεμένη σε Macbook Pro M1 Pro. Έρχομαι απο μία άλλη Dell που την είχα πάρει το 2018 και η αναβάθμιση είναι σαφέσταστη. Πολύ καλύτερο scaling σε MacOS απο την προηγούμενη, όλα είναι crisp (**δες edit). Στην προηγούμενη, π.χ., τα γράμματα στο μενού του browser ήταν λίγο περίεργα, στην U2723QE είναι τέλεια, στο default settings που μου έβγαλε. Υποτίθεται ότι είναι calibrated απο το εργοστάσιο αλλά μπορείς και καλύτερα. Με ειδικό μηχάνημα. Εγώ πήγα να κάνω calibration μόνος μου με οδηγείες απο το ίντερνετ και έκανα μιά τρύπα στο νερό. Έγιναν όλα μπλε. Τα default settings είναι μιά χαρά. Προσωπική άποψη: Το brightness θέλει 80% απο 75% που είναι στο default. Έχει πολλά Color Spaces να διαλέξει κάποιος, Adobe RGB, DCI P3, κτλ, εγώ την έχω αφήσει στο default. Την έχω φορτώσει σε βραχίονα (στην φώτο φαίνεται στραβή, δεν είναι, κι αυτά που φαίνονται σαν ποδαράκια αριστερά και δεξιά είναι φωτιστικά), οπότε δεν έχω άποψη για τις περιστροφές κτλ, ούτε και τις χρειάζομαι. Για τα μαύρα τώρα, σίγουρα δεν είναι total black σε φάση OLED επίπεδο, αλλά είναι πολύ καλύτερη απο την προηγούμενη που είχα. Φαίνεται η διαφορά που διαφημίζει η Dell. Σε απόλυτα μαύρη οθόνη υπάρχει φυσικά bleed φωτός στην κάτω πλευρά, αλλά αυτή είναι η μοίρα με όλες τις IPS-LCD οθόνες. Θα μπορούσε να είναι ένα κλικ φθηνότερη, αλλά είναι απο τις πιό μοσχοπουλημένες οθόνες της Dell, προφανώς μένει ψηλά η τιμή της. Έχει και ολόκληρο hub απο πίσω, με τόσες υποδοχές που χάνεσαι. Το θέμα με τις οθόνες, στον επαγγελματικό τομέα, είναι πως για να πάρεις "τρομερή" οθόνη θες τουλάχιστον 1,800 ευρώ για την Apple Studio (αν όχι χιλιάδες ευρώ για καλύτερες ακόμα) η οποία ναι μεν "μόνο 60hz" αλλά όποιος την έχει δει απο κοντά ξέρει τι εικόνα έχει, οπότε, για 580 ευρώ που την πλήρωσα εγώ είμαι ευχαριστημένος. Όποια έρευνα αγοράς έκανα στο ίντερνετ για 27αρα οθόνη για Macbook, budget friendly, όλα κατέληγαν σ' αυτή την οθόνη και συμφωνώ και εγώ μαζί τους. Είμαι ευχαριστημένος απο την αγορά.
Edit: Για το απόλυτο "crisp" εικόνας (μιλάω για MacOS) θέλει ανάλυση 2048 × 1152 στα system settings. Το Macbook κάνει render στα 4096 × 2304 και το 2048 × 1152 είναι το ακριβώς μισό. Ψάξτε στο Google για περισσότερες πληροφορίες επί του θέματος. Επίσης, για τη σύνδεση Mac - οθόνης, καλώδιο USB-C σε DisplayPort. To DisplayPort υποστηρίζει πλήρες RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling ενώ το HDMI 4:2:0. (Το καλώδιο είναι για τους επαγγελματίες που ενδιαφέρονται για την ακρίβεια στο HEX των χρωμάτων. Για κατανάλωση media και gaming δεν έχει καμία σημασία.)

My experience with the Dell UltraSharp U2723QE was exceptional. The image quality is simply amazing, with vibrant colors and incredible detail thanks to the 4K UHD resolution and IPS Black technology that offers deeper blacks. Connectivity is another big plus, with USB-C, DisplayPort, and Ethernet ports that make my work much easier and more organized. Also, the ergonomics of the monitor are excellent – I can adjust the height, rotate it, and find the optimal position for my needs. Overall, the user experience is extremely pleasant, and this monitor has significantly upgraded my productivity.

The only negatives I find for compulsive people are:
1) When you want to turn it from horizontal to vertical position or vice versa, the base does not level! That is, it does not have a notch to understand if it is exactly 90 degrees vertical or 180 horizontal.
2) The button to enter the menu makes a lot of noise... the switch of the power strip I have, makes less..

It is a really good monitor with very good image quality, very nice depiction of characters, for example in Word, web, etc. The KVM is worth every penny. Fortunately, I didn't see the backlight bleed that some mention. The only perhaps negative is the 60Hz, but for office work, it's top-notch.

I've had it for 2-3 weeks now, connected to a Macbook Pro M1 Pro. I’m coming from another Dell that I bought in 2018, and the upgrade is definitely noticeable. Much better scaling on MacOS than the previous one; everything is crisp (**see edit). In the previous one, for example, the letters in the browser menu were a bit weird, in the U2723QE they are perfect, at the default settings it gave me. It’s supposed to be calibrated from the factory, but you can do even better. With a special machine. I tried to do the calibration myself with instructions from the internet and I made a complete mess. Everything turned blue. The default settings are just fine. Personal opinion: The brightness needs to be at 80% instead of the 75% it is at by default. It has many Color Spaces to choose from, Adobe RGB, DCI P3, etc., I’ve left it at default. I have it mounted on an arm (in the photo it looks crooked, it’s not, and those that look like little feet on the left and right are lights), so I have no opinion on the rotations, etc., nor do I need them. Now, regarding the blacks, it’s definitely not total black like OLED level, but it’s much better than the previous one I had. You can see the difference that Dell advertises. On a completely black screen, there is of course light bleed on the bottom side, but that’s the fate of all IPS-LCD screens. It could be a click cheaper, but it’s one of Dell’s most sought-after monitors, so obviously, its price remains high. It also has a whole hub on the back, with so many ports that you get lost. The thing with monitors in the professional sector is that to get a "fantastic" monitor you need at least 1,800 euros for the Apple Studio (if not thousands of euros for even better ones) which, yes, has "only 60hz" but anyone who has seen it up close knows what image it has, so for the 580 euros I paid, I am satisfied. Edit: For the absolute "crisp" image (I’m talking about MacOS) you need a resolution of 2048 × 1152 in the system settings. The Macbook renders at 4096 × 2304 and 2048 × 1152 is exactly half. Search Google for more information on the subject. Also, for the connection Mac - monitor, USB-C to DisplayPort cable. DisplayPort supports full RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling while HDMI supports 4:2:0. (The cable is for professionals who care about the accuracy of the color HEX. For media consumption and gaming, it doesn’t matter at all.)
P.S. The USB-C to USB-C is not guaranteed to run RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. The safest bet is USB-C to DisplayPort.
Την έχω 2-3 βδομάδες τώρα, συνεδεμένη σε Macbook Pro M1 Pro. Έρχομαι απο μία άλλη Dell που την είχα πάρει το 2018 και η αναβάθμιση είναι σαφέσταστη. Πολύ καλύτερο scaling σε MacOS απο την προηγούμενη, όλα είναι crisp (**δες edit). Στην προηγούμενη, π.χ., τα γράμματα στο μενού του browser ήταν λίγο περίεργα, στην U2723QE είναι τέλεια, στο default settings που μου έβγαλε. Υποτίθεται ότι είναι calibrated απο το εργοστάσιο αλλά μπορείς και καλύτερα. Με ειδικό μηχάνημα. Εγώ πήγα να κάνω calibration μόνος μου με οδηγείες απο το ίντερνετ και έκανα μιά τρύπα στο νερό. Έγιναν όλα μπλε. Τα default settings είναι μιά χαρά. Προσωπική άποψη: Το brightness θέλει 80% απο 75% που είναι στο default. Έχει πολλά Color Spaces να διαλέξει κάποιος, Adobe RGB, DCI P3, κτλ, εγώ την έχω αφήσει στο default. Την έχω φορτώσει σε βραχίονα (στην φώτο φαίνεται στραβή, δεν είναι, κι αυτά που φαίνονται σαν ποδαράκια αριστερά και δεξιά είναι φωτιστικά), οπότε δεν έχω άποψη για τις περιστροφές κτλ, ούτε και τις χρειάζομαι. Για τα μαύρα τώρα, σίγουρα δεν είναι total black σε φάση OLED επίπεδο, αλλά είναι πολύ καλύτερη απο την προηγούμενη που είχα. Φαίνεται η διαφορά που διαφημίζει η Dell. Σε απόλυτα μαύρη οθόνη υπάρχει φυσικά bleed φωτός στην κάτω πλευρά, αλλά αυτή είναι η μοίρα με όλες τις IPS-LCD οθόνες. Θα μπορούσε να είναι ένα κλικ φθηνότερη, αλλά είναι απο τις πιό μοσχοπουλημένες οθόνες της Dell, προφανώς μένει ψηλά η τιμή της. Έχει και ολόκληρο hub απο πίσω, με τόσες υποδοχές που χάνεσαι. I bought it after extensive market research and I am satisfied. My biggest concerns before purchasing it were the response time, scaling for MacOs, and bleeding in the corners.
Ultimately, the response time doesn't bother me as a casual gamer (it goes down to 5ms even though the default is 8ms). Personally, I don't see any issues, but I have never had a gaming monitor to compare it to.
On Mac, I had to go with 1440p resolution because the native resolution had very small letters, but I don't think I noticed any difference in performance. You can also find analyses on YouTube about this, and it seems that performance is affected in very specific use cases to a small extent.
Although the bleeding in the corners exists, I don't see it in day-to-day use. It's definitely not a problem for me, but it is inevitable in these panels. However, in normal lighting, I never noticed anything. If you turn off all the lights and watch a very dark movie, then it might bother you.
Something that surprised me coming from a curved display is that with this particular flat 27-inch one, even after a month of use, I still haven't fully adjusted to it and the texts at the edges seem quite far from my line of sight. After 10 years of having the curved one, I finally appreciated it as a technology.
Other than that, the monitor is an excellent choice. Although you can find similar features at a lower price, I believe the reason why its price is €100-€150 higher is because of its USB hub. It has so many ports and at such a good speed (10Gbps) for most of them, that for a similar quality USB hub, you would need to spend around €300. I know this because I have extensively researched top USB hubs. With this monitor, I can finally connect everything and they all work flawlessly, something I couldn't achieve for so many years with mid-range hubs. I have connected 3 hard drives and around 10 more peripherals, all at the same time, and they all work without any issues! The headache of peripherals not working due to low bandwidth has finally ended! And all of this by simply connecting the monitor to my Mac with a "regular" USB-C cable, which also charges at the same time.
In conclusion, if you need a 4K, 27-inch monitor with a powerful USB hub like me, this specific monitor is a top choice. Otherwise, you can go for a cheaper 4K option.
Την αγόρασα μετά από μεγάλη έρευνα αγοράς και είμαι ευχαριστημένος. Οι μεγαλύτερες ανησυχίες μου πριν την πάρω ήταν το response time, το scaling για MacOs και το bleeding στις γωνιές.
Τελικά το response time για μένα ως casual gamer δεν με ενοχλεί (κατεβαίνει στα 5ms παρόλο που σαν default έχει τα 8ms). Προσωπικά δεν βλέπω κανένα πρόβλημα, αλλά δεν είχα και ποτε gaming monitor για να συγκρίνω.
Στο Mac αναγκαστικά πήγα σε 1440p resolution γιατί στο native είναι πολύ μικρά τα γράμματα, αλλά δεν νομίζω ότι είδα καμία διαφορά στο performance. Μπορείτε να δείτε και αναλύσεις στο YouTube περί αυτού, το performance επηρεάζεται σε πολύ συγκεκριμένα use cases απ ότι φαίνεται και σε μικρό βαθμό.
Το bleeding στις γωνιές παρότι υπαρκτό, day to day δεν το βλέπεις. Σίγουρα δεν είναι πρόβλημα για εμένα αλλά ούτως ή άλλως είναι αναπόφευκτο σε αυτά τα panels. Πάντως σε κανονικό φωτισμό δεν παρατήρησα ποτε τίποτα. Αν κλείσεις όλα τα φώτα και δεις μια πολύ σκοτεινή ταινία, ίσως τότε να σε ενοχλήσει.
Κάτι που με ξένισε προερχόμενος από curved display, είναι ότι στην συγκεκριμένη flat που είναι και 27 ίντσες, ακόμα και τώρα μετά από έναν μήνα χρήσης δεν την έχω συνηθίσει ακόμα πλήρως και τα κείμενα στις άκρες μου φαίνονται αρκετά μακρυά από το βλέμμα μου. Μετά από 10 χρονια που είχα την curved, επιτέλους την εκτίμησα ως τεχνολογία.
Κατά τ αλλα η οθόνη είναι εξαιρετική επιλογή. Παρόλο που βρίσκεις παρόμοια χαρακτηριστικά σε χαμηλότερη τιμή, θεωρώ πως ο λόγος που η τιμή της είναι 100€-150€ τσιμπημένη είναι το usb hub της. Έχει τόσες πολλές υποδοχές και σε τόση καλή ταχύτητα (10Gbps) οι περισσότερες, που για παρόμοιας ποιότητας usb hub χρειάζεσαι περίπου 300€. Το ξέρω γιατί το έχω ψάξει παρά πολύ για top usb hub. Στην οθόνη αυτή για πρώτη φορά επιτέλους τα κουμπώνω όλα και παίζουν απροβλημάτιστα, κάτι που δεν είχα καταφέρει τόσα χρόνια με mid range hubs. Έχω βάλει 3 σκληρούς και καμία 10αρια ακόμα περιφερειακά, όλα ταυτόχρονα, και παίζουν όλα απροβλημάτιστα! Ο πονοκέφαλος των περιφερειακών που δεν έπαιζαν λόγω χαμηλού bandwidth επιτέλους τελείωσε! Και όλα αυτά μάλιστα συνδέοντας την οθόνη με Mac με ένα «απλό» usb c καλώδιο, το οποίο φορτίζει και ταυτόχρονα.
Εν κατακλείδι, αν χρειάζεστε 4K, 27αρα οθόνη με τούμπανο usb hub όπως εγώ, η συγκεκριμένη οθόνη είναι top επιλογή. Διαφορετικά μπορείτε να πάτε σε φθηνότερη 4K.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase I made. It is for office use and I wanted the text to be super clear, which it is. Also, the color coverage is 100% as far as I know, and indeed, with a MacBook next to it, the colors are exactly the same. It is also very user-friendly, thanks to the hub it has, which was also a reason for me since I have 3 computers. I give it 4 stars because the viewing angles are not that great, as the screen has glare and it tends to gray out if you go too far to the side. However, if you are in front of it or have a small viewing angle, it is perfectly fine. Also, anyone who has a MacBook should not be influenced by nonsense they read about scaling issues. The Mac OS gives you a bunch of options, and no matter what I chose, the image was crystal clear. The blacks, on the other hand, are terrible (see the photo I uploaded) because it is an IPS panel, but this particular screen is not intended for movies or gaming. I tried watching a movie, specifically the latest Batman, and the blacks were laughable. Okay, I have seen enough IPS panels, but this is by far the worst because there is no uniformity in the black levels. Considering the price, even though it is intended for office use by the company, I find it disappointing that you can't sit down and watch a movie if you want to. I didn't try it for gaming, but all the reviews I read say that it doesn't have as low of a response time as it should for gamers, and it is also 60hz. Of course, I think anyone who has consoles will be fine since the refresh rate doesn't go above 60, which I personally find sufficient. Hardcore PC gamers and cinephiles should definitely look elsewhere. In the end, for hardcore office users, it is perfect in my opinion (although with a steep price).
Γενικά είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος για τη χρήση που την αγόρασα. Είναι για χρήση γραφείου κ ήθελα το κείμενο να είναι super καθαρό που είναι. Επίσης η κάλυψη χρωμάτων είναι στο 100% από όσο ξέρω κ όντως με ένα MacBook από δίπλα τα χρώματα είναι ακριβώς τα ίδια. Πολύ εύχρηστο επίσης το hub που έχει που ήταν επίσης λόγος για μένα αφού έχω 3 υπολογιστές. Βάζω 4 αστέρια γιατί οι γωνιές θέασης δεν είναι τόσο καλές μιας και η οθόνη έχει glare αλλά κ γκριζίζει αρκετά αν πας πολύ πλάι. Αν πάλι είσαι μπροστά η έχεις μικρή γωνία θέασης είναι απολύτως οκ. Επίσης οποιος έχει MacBook ας μην επηρεαστεί από βλακείες που θα διαβάσει για προβλήματα με το scaling. Σου δίνει ένα σορό επιλογές το Mac OS που ότι και να επέλεξα η εικόνα ήταν κρύσταλλο. Τα μαυρα της είναι…υπερ χάλια (δείτε φωτογραφία που έχω ανεβάσει)…μιας και IPS panel αλλά η συγκεκριμένη οθόνη δεν προορίζεται για ταινίες ούτε για gaming. Έβαλα να δω μία ταινία και συγκεριμένα το τελευταίο Batman και τα μαύρα της ήταν για γέλια. Οκ έχω δει αρκετά IPS πάνελ αλλά αυτό είναι το χειρότερο με διαφορά γιατί δεν υπάρχει ομοιομορφία στο χάλι. Για τα χρήματα της παρόλο που προορίζεται από την εταιρία για office use το θεωρώ ξενέρα να μη μπορείς να κάτσεις να δεις μια ταινία αν χρειαστεί. Για gaming δε τη δοκίμασα αλλά όλα τα reviews που διάβασα λένε ότι δεν έχει τόσο χαμηλό response time όσο πρέπει για gamers αλλά κ είναι 60hz. Βέβαια νομίζω οποιος έχει κονσόλες θα είναι μια χαρά μιας και που το refresh rate δε φτάνει πάνω από 60 που το θεωρώ προσωπικά αρκετά. Οι hardcore PC gamers και cineφίλς θα πρέπει να κοιτάξουν άλλου σίγουρα. Εν τέλη για hardcore office users είναι κατ’ εμε τέλεια (αν και με τσιμπημένη τιμή).
Impressive on paper with a Contrast Ratio of 2000:1 (Measured from 1800:1 to 1200:1 in points with bleed) and its color coverage, and the amazing menu for switching between sRGB Rec709 and DCI-P3, but disappointment with its blacks and viewing angles. The viewing angles are mainly ruined in blacks, not in regular images with all tones. It also has a terrible SemiGloss coating which, as all reviews say, has a lot of reflection. Its hub is very convenient and the colors are very good. If you want it for casual use, it's okay, but problematic for image processing use.
Εντυπωσιακη στα χαρτια με το Contrast Ratio 2000:1 (Μετρημενο απο 1800:1 εως 1200:1 σε σημεια με bleed) και την καλυψη χρωματων της και το καταπληκτικο μενου για αλλαγη μεταξυ sRGB Rec709 και DCI-P3 αλλα μιζερια με τα μαυρα της και τις γωνιες θεασης. Οι γωνιες θεασης χαλανε κυριως στα μαυρα οχι σε κανονικες εικονες με ολους τους τονους. Επισης εχει χαλια SemiGloss επιστρωση που οπως λενε ολα τα reviews εχει παρα πολυ αντανακλαση. Το hub της ειναι πολυ βολικο και τα χρωματα πολυ καλα. Αν το θελετε για casual χρηση οκ αλλα προβληματικη για χρηση σε επεξεργασια εικονας.

My use case involves 2 Macs connected to the same screen (1 MacBook & 1 Mac Mini). I considered getting a 27-inch 5K (LG or Studio Display) before settling on this specific monitor. The reasons, in addition to cost, are as follows:
Stand: Pretty good. As a long-time owner of Dell monitors, I see a small improvement in stability from the previous generation of Dell stands. It's obviously plastic, but with easy height/tilt/rotate adjustment. It does everything and isn't sold as an extra accessory (<3 Apple).
Ports: The main winner. A large selection of ports that drastically reduced the cables on my desk (goodbye dongles & switches). The hub is very convenient, you just need to make sure you have the right cables for 4K-60hz. I don't know if all the ports will be reliable in the long run, but I don't see why they wouldn't be. Solid construction. Note that both 5K monitors I mentioned earlier have only one set of USB-C/Thunderbolt ports.
Panel: Excellent 4K and easy on the eyes. I read a lot about 4K scaling on Macs. There is indeed a slight distortion in very small letters, but it's generally not a problem. Increasing the sharpness of the screen from the menu greatly improves the situation. Its colors are set correctly (although I'm not a professional in this area to judge with data), and it's definitely a powerful upgrade from the 2K monitor I had before (again, a U series Dell). I have no opinion on HDR & IPS black, but for the design use I need it for, it covers me 100%.
Overall: It would be perfect if it could render 2x without scaling as a 5K panel, but I concluded that it wasn't worth spending a lot of money or getting a 2016 model (poor in ports), and I think it was the right choice.
Although it's relatively expensive compared to other 4K monitors, it's a 2022 model and has Dell U series quality. VFM.
Το use case μου ειναι 2 mac συνδεδεμενα μαζι στην οθονη (1 macbook & 1 macmini). Εψαξα το ενδεχομενο να παρω μια 27 inch 5Κ (LG or Studio Display) πριν καταληξω στη συγκεκριμενη οθονη. Οι λογοι, παράλληλα με το οικονομικο, ειναι οι παρακατω:
Βαση: Αρκετα καλη. Ως κατοχος dell oθονών χρονια βλεπω μια μικρη ισως βελτιωση στο κουνημα απο την προηγουμενη γενια βασεων της Dell. Πλαστική προφανως, αλλα με ευκολη ρυθμιση υψους / tilt / rotate. Γενικα τα κανει ολα, και δεν πουλιεται ως εξτρα αξεσουαρ (<3 Apple).
Θυρες: Βασικο winner. Μεγαλη επιλογη θυρων που μειωσε δραστικα τα καλωδια στο γραφειο μου (goodbye dongles & switches). Το hub ειναι πολυ βολικο απλα πρεπει να βεβαιωθειτε οτι εχετε τα καταλληλα καλωδια για 4Κ-60hz. Δεν ξερω αν θα ειναι αξιοπιστες όλες οι θυρες σε βαθος χρονου, αλλα δεν βλεπω λογο να μην ειναι. Solid κατασκευη. Σημειώνω για τη διαφορά ότι και οι δύο 5Κ οθονες που ανεφερα παραπανω εχουν μονο μια τετραδα usbc/thunderbolt ports.
Πανελ: Εξαιρετικο 4Κ και ξεκούραστο. Για το 4Κ scaling σε mac ειχα διαβασει πολλα. Υπαρχει οντως μια μινι παραμορφωση σε πολυ μικρα γραμματα αλλα γενικα δεν ειναι προβλημα. Αυξανοντας λιγο το sharpness της οθονης απ το μενου της οθονης διορθωνεις κατά πολυ την κατασταση. Τα χρωματα του ειναι ρυθμισμενα σωστα (αν και δεν ειμαι επαγγελματιας σ αυτο το κομματι να κρινω με data), και ειναι σίγουρα πολυ δυνατο upgrade απο μια 2Κ οθονη που είχα πριν (πάλι U series Dell). Για HDR & IPS black δεν εχω αποψη αλλα για τη χρήση design που τη θέλω με καλυπτει 100%.
Γενικα: θα ηταν τελεια αν μπορουσε να κανει render 2χ χωρις scaling ως 5Κ πανελ, αλλα κατεληξα οτι δεν αξιζει να δώσω πολλά €€€€ παραπανω ή να πάρω ένα μοντέλο του 2016 (φτωχά σε θύρες) και νομίζω ήταν μια σωστή επιλογή.
Αν και σχετικά ακριβο προϊον σχετικά με άλλες 4Κ, ειναι μοντελο 2022 & έχει ποιότητα Dell U series. VFM.
An excellent monitor to pair with a Mac computer, whether we're talking about a Mac mini or Studio or a MacBook. I use it with my MacBook and so far it has been flawless. More specifically:
SCREEN:
I come from an iMac 27" 5K (late 2015) and I was a bit worried about how a 4K screen would look since the ppi (pixels per inch) drops from 218 to 163. So far I do see the difference, but it's not scary and I believe that as my eyes get used to it, I'll notice it less. Colors are extremely close to what I'm used to from its predecessor and there are many settings both from the computer and from the device's menu. Impressive brightness that hits 400 nits. A big negative is that it doesn't do well when there is light behind your back. Be careful with its placement.
FUNCTIONALITY:
Those of you with newer generation Macs, i.e. exclusively with Thunderbolt 3.0 ports, know what a "dongle" is. Here you can forget about it. On the back of the monitor, there is a fully functional hub with both USB A and USB-C ports as well as display ports. I haven't connected anything too demanding to the monitor, just a camera and my stylus, and they work flawlessly. The cool thing is that I've forgotten my MacBook charger in the drawer since the monitor also takes care of charging the computer with just one cable (90w). Just one cable for image, sound (I don't recommend it), data, and power transfer. I don't know how fast the ports are in terms of write speed as I haven't connected a drive to them. I have it directly on the computer to be sure. A negative is that access to the ports isn't very easy as they're on the back and quite high up near the VESA mount. However, they have placed a USB-C and a USB-A on the lower left side of the monitor for greater convenience.
ERGONOMICS:
Not much to say here. It has a nice, sleek stand with a hole in the middle for cables to pass through and keep things a bit tidier. The stand allows it to go up or down as needed, turn right or left, and of course rotate 90 degrees. A minor negative is that it moves with the slightest touch. For example, as I type, I see the screen having micro-vibrations.
CONCLUSION:
As I wrote at the beginning, it's an excellent product. Maybe more expensive than it should be since the build quality isn't anything amazing. It's just hard plastics. But the essence, the quality of the panel and how the hub on the back helps you have a setup with maximum connectivity options, make this monitor one of the top choices.
Update 15.01.26:
The monitor developed a vertical green line out of nowhere. The problem disappeared within a few hours, but having contacted Dell directly, they will proceed with a replacement immediately. So apart from the good support, the monitor had a 3-year warranty. No other function has been affected. The product remains flawless.

Χρώματα εξαιρετικά κοντά σε αυτό που έχω συνηθίσει από τον προκάτοχο και πολλές ρυθμίσεις τόσο από μεριάς του υπολογιστή όσο και από το μενού της συσκευής. Τρομαχτική φωτεινότητα που χτυπάει τα 400 nits. Μεγάλο αρνητικό το ότι δεν τα πηγαίνει καλά όταν υπάρχει φως πίσω από την πλάτη σας. Προσοχή στην τοποθέτησή της.
ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΚΟΤΗΤΑ:
Όσοι έχετε mac νεότερης γενιάς, δηλαδή αποκλειστικά με θύρες thunderbolt 3.0 γνωρίζετε τι εστί "dongle". Εδώ το ξεχνάτε. Στο πίσω μέρος της οθόνης υπάρχει ένα πλήρως λειτουργικό hub πάνω της τόσο με θύρες USB A όσο και με USB-C αλλά και display ports. Πάνω στην οθόνη δεν έχω βάλει κάτι πολύ απαιτητικό, μόνο μια κάμερα και τη γραφίδα μου και δουλεύουν απροβλημάτιστα. Η μαγκιά είναι ότι έχω ξεχάσει τον φορτιστή του macbook στο συρτάρι καθώς η οθόνη αναλαμβάνει και τη φόρτιση του υπολογιστή με ένα μόλις καλώδιο (90w). Ένα καλώδιο μόλις δηλαδή για μεταφορά εικόνας, ήχου (δεν το προτείνω), δεδομένων και ρεύματος. Δεν ξέρω πόσο γρήγορες είναι οι θύρες από θέμα εγγραφής καθώς δεν έχω βάλει δίσκο πάνω τους. Τον έχω απευθείας πάνω στον υπολογιστή για να είμαι σίγουρος. Αρνητικό μπορώ να πω πως είναι το ότι δεν είναι και πολύ εύκολη η πρόσβαση στις θύρες καθώς είναι μεν πίσω αλλά είναι αρκετά ψηλά κοντά στο vesa mount. Έχουν βάλει όμως μια USB-C και μια USB-A στο κάτω αριστερό μέρος της οθόνης για μεγαλύτερη ευκολία.
ΕΡΓΟΝΟΜΙΑ:
Εδώ δεν έχω πολλά να πω. Έχει ένα όμορφο κομψό stand με μια τρύπα στη μέση για να περνάνε τα καλώδια και να είναι λίγο πιο μαζεμένη η όλη φάση. Το stand της επιτρέπει να σηκώνεται ή να χαμηλώνει όσο πρέπει να γυρνάει προς τα δεξιά ή τα αριστερά και φυσικά να περιστρέφεται 90 μοίρες. Μικρό αρνητικό εδώ ότι κουνιέται με το παραμικρό. Δηλαδή όσο γράφω βλέπω την οθόνη να έχει μικρο-δονήσεις.
ΣΥΜΠΕΡΑΣΜΑ:
Όπως γράφω στην αρχή, είναι ένα εξαιρετικό προϊόν. Ίσως πιο ακριβό απ όσο θα έπρεπε καθώς η ποιότητα κατασκευής δεν είναι κάτι τρομερό. Είναι απλά σκληρά πλαστικά. Αλλά η ουσία του πράγματος, η ποιότητα του panel δηλαδή και το πως σε βοηθά το hub από πίσω να έχεις ένα setup με μέγιστες δυνατότητες συνδεσιμότητας καθιστούν αυτή την οθόνη στις κορυφαίες.
Update 15.01.26:
Η οθόνη εμφάνισε μια κάθετη πράσινη γραμμή από το πουθενά. Το πρόβλημα εντός λίγων ωρών εξαφανίστηκε αλλά έχοντας επικοινωνήσει απευθείας με τη Dell, θα προχωρήσουν σε αντικατάστασή της άμεσα. Οπότε πέραν του καλού support, η οθόνη είχε εγγύηση στα 3 έτη. Καμία άλλη λειτουργεία δεν έχει επηρεαστεί. Το προϊόν παραμένει άψογο.
Excellent quality. Coming from a Mac, I had a hard time getting used to the matte finish at first, but compared to Apple's $1.8K screen, it's definitely worth it!

Also, the packaging does not include an HDMI cable, which is unacceptable for its price.
There is the U2723QX model that includes the HDMI cable.

After about 1.5 years, it still works flawlessly (no sudden disconnections, pixelation, etc.) in all resolutions (4K, QHD, FHD) either with DP or HDMI (although DP is preferable).
In case the cables (DP, USB-C) that come with the product are NOT used, certified 4K cables should be used, whether they are HDMI (https://hdmi.org/spec/premiumcable) or DP (https://www.displayport.org/product-category/cables-adaptors/) to avoid any issues.
It goes without saying that the graphics card of the PC should also support 4K resolution (and of course have good drivers).
Its price has dropped to €600 and for what it offers, as well as its "quality" of construction (very plastic), it is a good value for money.

Μετά από 1μιση χρόνο περίπου, εξακολουθεί να δουλεύει απροβλημάτιστα (χωρίς ξαφνικές αποσυνδέσεις, "πιξέλιασμα" κ.τ.λ.) σε όλες τις αναλύσεις (4K, QHD, FHD) είτε με DP είτε με HDMI (αν και προτιμότερο είναι μέσω DP).
Σε περίπτωση που ΔΕΝ χρησιμοποιηθούν τα καλώδια (DP, USB-C) που συνοδεύουν το προϊόν, να χρησιμοποιηθούν καλώδια πιστοποιημένα για 4K, είτε είναι HDMI (https://hdmi.org/spec/premiumcable) είτε DP (https://www.displayport.org/product-category/cables-adaptors/) για να μην υπάρχουν προβλήματα.
Είναι αυτονόητο ότι θα πρέπει και η κάρτα γραφικών του Η/Υ να υποστηρίζει 4K ανάλυση (και φυσικά να έχει καλούς οδηγούς).
Η τιμή του έχει πέσει και μέχρι 600 € για αυτά που προσφέρει, όπως και την "ποιότητα" κατασκευής του (πολύ πλαστικό) είναι VFM.

It is a really good monitor with very good image quality, very nice depiction of characters, for example in Word, web, etc. The KVM is worth every penny. Fortunately, I didn't see the backlight bleed that some mention. The only perhaps negative is the 60Hz, but for office work, it's top-notch.

I've had it for 2-3 weeks now, connected to a Macbook Pro M1 Pro. I’m coming from another Dell that I bought in 2018, and the upgrade is definitely noticeable. Much better scaling on MacOS than the previous one; everything is crisp (**see edit). In the previous one, for example, the letters in the browser menu were a bit weird, in the U2723QE they are perfect, at the default settings it gave me. It’s supposed to be calibrated from the factory, but you can do even better. With a special machine. I tried to do the calibration myself with instructions from the internet and I made a complete mess. Everything turned blue. The default settings are just fine. Personal opinion: The brightness needs to be at 80% instead of the 75% it is at by default. It has many Color Spaces to choose from, Adobe RGB, DCI P3, etc., I’ve left it at default. I have it mounted on an arm (in the photo it looks crooked, it’s not, and those that look like little feet on the left and right are lights), so I have no opinion on the rotations, etc., nor do I need them. Now, regarding the blacks, it’s definitely not total black like OLED level, but it’s much better than the previous one I had. You can see the difference that Dell advertises. On a completely black screen, there is of course light bleed on the bottom side, but that’s the fate of all IPS-LCD screens. It could be a click cheaper, but it’s one of Dell’s most sought-after monitors, so obviously, its price remains high. It also has a whole hub on the back, with so many ports that you get lost. The thing with monitors in the professional sector is that to get a "fantastic" monitor you need at least 1,800 euros for the Apple Studio (if not thousands of euros for even better ones) which, yes, has "only 60hz" but anyone who has seen it up close knows what image it has, so for the 580 euros I paid, I am satisfied. Any market research I did online for a 27-inch monitor for Macbook, budget-friendly, all led to this monitor and I agree with them. I am pleased with the purchase.
Edit: For the absolute "crisp" image (I’m talking about MacOS) you need a resolution of 2048 × 1152 in the system settings. The Macbook renders at 4096 × 2304 and 2048 × 1152 is exactly half. Search Google for more information on the subject. Also, for the connection Mac - monitor, USB-C to DisplayPort cable. DisplayPort supports full RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling while HDMI supports 4:2:0. (The cable is for professionals who care about the accuracy of the color HEX. For media consumption and gaming, it doesn’t matter at all.)
P.S. The USB-C to USB-C is not guaranteed to run RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. The safest bet is USB-C to DisplayPort.
Την έχω 2-3 βδομάδες τώρα, συνεδεμένη σε Macbook Pro M1 Pro. Έρχομαι απο μία άλλη Dell που την είχα πάρει το 2018 και η αναβάθμιση είναι σαφέσταστη. Πολύ καλύτερο scaling σε MacOS απο την προηγούμενη, όλα είναι crisp (**δες edit). Στην προηγούμενη, π.χ., τα γράμματα στο μενού του browser ήταν λίγο περίεργα, στην U2723QE είναι τέλεια, στο default settings που μου έβγαλε. Υποτίθεται ότι είναι calibrated απο το εργοστάσιο αλλά μπορείς και καλύτερα. Με ειδικό μηχάνημα. Εγώ πήγα να κάνω calibration μόνος μου με οδηγείες απο το ίντερνετ και έκανα μιά τρύπα στο νερό. Έγιναν όλα μπλε. Τα default settings είναι μιά χαρά. Προσωπική άποψη: Το brightness θέλει 80% απο 75% που είναι στο default. Έχει πολλά Color Spaces να διαλέξει κάποιος, Adobe RGB, DCI P3, κτλ, εγώ την έχω αφήσει στο default. Την έχω φορτώσει σε βραχίονα (στην φώτο φαίνεται στραβή, δεν είναι, κι αυτά που φαίνονται σαν ποδαράκια αριστερά και δεξιά είναι φωτιστικά), οπότε δεν έχω άποψη για τις περιστροφές κτλ, ούτε και τις χρειάζομαι. Για τα μαύρα τώρα, σίγουρα δεν είναι total black σε φάση OLED επίπεδο, αλλά είναι πολύ καλύτερη απο την προηγούμενη που είχα. Φαίνεται η διαφορά που διαφημίζει η Dell. Σε απόλυτα μαύρη οθόνη υπάρχει φυσικά bleed φωτός στην κάτω πλευρά, αλλά αυτή είναι η μοίρα με όλες τις IPS-LCD οθόνες. Θα μπορούσε να είναι ένα κλικ φθηνότερη, αλλά είναι απο τις πιό μοσχοπουλημένες οθόνες της Dell, προφανώς μένει ψηλά η τιμή της. Έχει και ολόκληρο hub απο πίσω, με τόσες υποδοχές που χάνεσαι. Το θέμα με τις οθόνες, στον επαγγελματικό τομέα, είναι πως για να πάρεις "τρομερή" οθόνη θες τουλάχιστον 1,800 ευρώ για την Apple Studio (αν όχι χιλιάδες ευρώ για καλύτερες ακόμα) η οποία ναι μεν "μόνο 60hz" αλλά όποιος την έχει δει απο κοντά ξέρει τι εικόνα έχει, οπότε, για 580 ευρώ που την πλήρωσα εγώ είμαι ευχαριστημένος. Όποια έρευνα αγοράς έκανα στο ίντερνετ για 27αρα οθόνη για Macbook, budget friendly, όλα κατέληγαν σ' αυτή την οθόνη και συμφωνώ και εγώ μαζί τους. Είμαι ευχαριστημένος απο την αγορά.

Υ.Γ. To USB-C σε USB-C δεν είναι σίγουρο ότι θα τρέξει RGB 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. Το πιό safe bet είναι USB-C σε DisplayPort.
My experience with the Dell UltraSharp U2723QE was exceptional. The image quality is simply amazing, with vibrant colors and incredible detail thanks to the 4K UHD resolution and IPS Black technology that offers deeper blacks. Connectivity is another big plus, with USB-C, DisplayPort, and Ethernet ports that make my work much easier and more organized. Also, the ergonomics of the monitor are excellent – I can adjust the height, rotate it, and find the optimal position for my needs. Overall, the user experience is extremely pleasant, and this monitor has significantly upgraded my productivity.

Serious tool!
The only negatives I find for compulsive people are:
1) When you want to turn it from horizontal to vertical position or vice versa, the base does not level! That is, it does not have a notch to understand if it is exactly 90 degrees vertical or 180 horizontal.
2) The button to enter the menu makes a lot of noise... the switch of the power strip I have, makes less..

Τα μόνα αρνητικά για ψυχαναγκαστικούς που βρίσκω είναι:
1) Όταν θες να την γυρίσεις από οριζόντια σε κάθετη θέση ή το αντίθετο, δεν αλφαδιάζει η βάση! Δηλαδή δεν κάνει κάποιο δόντι για να καταλάβεις αν είναι ακριβώς 90 μοίρες κάθετη ή 180 οριζόντια.
2) Το κουμπάκι για να μπεις στο μενού της κάνει πολύ θόρυβο…ο διακόπτης του πολύμπριζου που έχω, κάνει λιγότερο…
