No comparison in quality with the original. Of course, you get what you pay for. For me, in one year it became like the original after 10 years. Also, it doesn't fit well like the original, so you'll need to wrap a few layers of tape around the lever's metal to make it thicker and wedge it in. Still, it won't fit properly like the original BMW knob.
