The Johansson 7785 headend amplifier handles five independent inputs for the BI/FM, BIII/DAB, UHF1, UHF2 and SAT bands. Independent gain adjustment for each input and a split-band design with interstage attenuators and a 20 dB dynamic range allow each signal path to be configured. It is LTE-ready and RED-compliant, with selectivity classes 0 and 1.

The UHF1 and UHF2 inputs can each be switched between bandwidths up to 694 MHz and up to 862 MHz. Remote VDC power can be set to OFF, 12 V or 24 V, while the SAT input’s DC mode supports OFF, 13 V, 18 V and a 22 kHz tone. The compact housing includes a detachable power supply, one main output and one -30 dB test port.
