Mercola Primer PU 900 is a polyurethane-based primer that penetrates and stabilizes the substrate, creating a bonding layer for better adhesion of sealants and elastomeric materials. It cures with atmospheric moisture and can also be applied to slightly damp surfaces. It is used to prepare cementitious and construction surfaces, as well as to protect and reinforce them.
Suitable for concrete, cement, plaster, stone, marble, brick, wood, cement board and plasterboard. On smooth surfaces, such as glossy tiles, it is used in combination with quartz sand broadcast. It can be used to prepare rooftops before applying a polyurethane waterproofing membrane, joints before sealing with polyurethane mastics or silicone, and floors before bonding wooden flooring.
