Accurate measurement depends on the sensor’s contact with the body and the time required for the measurement site.

• Oral (≈ 30 sec): Avoid hot or cold food and drinks for 10 minutes beforehand. Place the sensor under the tongue, to the left or right of its base, ensuring good contact. Keep the mouth closed and breathe through the nose.
• Rectal (≈ 30 sec): Use a suitable sensor cover and lubricant. Carefully insert the sensor approximately 2–3 cm, without applying pressure.
• Armpit (at least 5 minutes): The armpit must be dry. Place the sensor in the center of the armpit, in direct contact with the skin, and hold the arm firmly against the body. Wait at least 5 minutes, even if the beep sounds sooner.

Important: The 30 sec duration does not apply to armpit measurements. For an armpit measurement, follow the longer time specified in the instructions for use.
