ISOPHALT RENOVATOR is a white primer for bitumen surfaces, based on synthetic hybrid resins. It strengthens and renews asphalt and bituminous felt surfaces, penetrating into the mass of the asphalt and deeply refreshing dried and aged surfaces. It forms a strong protective and adhesive film, white in color, which protects against ultraviolet radiation and is also used as an adhesion bridge for acrylic and hybrid insulations such as ISOCRYL and ISOCRYL PREMIUM.

Surface preparation:

• Application surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, mold, wax, rust, loose residues, chalk, and other foreign materials that may negatively affect adhesion.
• If washing is necessary, rinse thoroughly and let the surface dry.
• Remove loose or detached old materials with a scraper, wire or plastic brush, or high-pressure water spray.
• If mold is present, clean the surface with a mold cleaner, rinse thoroughly with water, and let it dry.
• ISOPHALT RENOVATOR is designed for application without the need to sand the surface. Due to different materials and application conditions, it is recommended to test a small area before applying over the entire surface.

Application:

• Mix the material well before and during application.
• Apply evenly over the entire surface using a brush, roller, or airless spray.
• If used as a final waterproofing membrane coat, it should be applied within 30 days to prevent surface contamination.

Yield: 1 - 2 m2/Liter depending on the texture and absorbency of the surface.

Initial drying: 1 - 2 hours at 20°C

Final drying: 6 - 12 hours at 20°C

For outdoor use

Application temperature: 10°C - 35°C

Cleaning: with white spirit or turpentine
