Beautiful and minimal design. The 3 stars are due to the cheap construction. There is no absolute symmetry in the design, but the worst part is the roughness of the unpolished wood and the saw blade marks on the inner sides. The adhesive pads on the base stick out on the left and right and look ugly.
Personally, I sanded each piece with 120-grit sandpaper and all the marks disappeared. I also applied some wax after and it turned out as it should. I easily cut the pads with a utility knife and made them smaller than the width of the wood. Now they are not visible at all and the lamp looks like it is floating.
After all this, I can say it has risen to 5 stars and possibly worth 40€. Maybe in the future, I will add some clear adhesive clips on one inner side to hold the cable and prevent it from hanging from the center.
