The MSC autofocus system operates quickly, smoothly, and quietly for still photography and video. The lens features a manual focus clutch mechanism for instantly switching to manual focus, as well as an L-Fn button on the lens barrel that can be assigned camera functions. It supports Focus Stacking with a compatible camera and offers a maximum image magnification of 0.6x.
