The Antonov An-225 Mriya (Russian: dream) is a modern, originally Soviet and now Ukrainian heavy transport aircraft. The power is provided by six Lotusov D-18T engines with a thrust of 229.5 kN each. The airplane has a length of 84 meters with a wingspan of 88.4 meters.

The Antonov An-225 Mriya is the largest transport aircraft in use today and the heaviest aircraft in aviation history. Only one example of this machine was built. The main modification involved extending the fuselage by nearly 15 meters, using a larger central wing and changing the arrangement of the rear tailwings. Ultimately, the An-225 Mriya was intended to carry the space shuttle Buran on its back.
