Synthetic Shaving Brush - Roma Colosseo Y46880

The new Omega Roma synthetic shaving brush is part of the valuable range of Omega Evo synthetic brushes, maintaining the feel and quality of shaving. The Roma handle is made from high-quality resin, designed to mimic ivory.

The Evo fibers are made from PBT like other Omega fibers, but thanks to their new technical characteristics, such as a wider base diameter, special waviness, and a very fine chemical reduction, they represent the evolution of the Hi-Brush and Black Hi-Brush fibers. The knot, much larger than the standard HB and BHB, helps achieve a much more voluminous and creamy lather.

Synthetic fibers have much higher performance than bristles from pigs and badgers. They are more durable, healthier, and easier to clean.

    Coming from a boar brush, of the same brand, their difference seems chaotic. It was purchased in early June 2023 and after 9 months of use, I can say that it is an amazing brush that is worth its money. Excellent performance-price ratio, it creates lather very easily, has moderate backbone (I mainly use creams, for hard soaps I have bought an entry-level boar brush from Zenith) and is very gentle on the face.
    It also holds a lot of water and requires a good shake to fully dry, but it is synthetic and requires minimal care.
    A tremendous product especially for beginners, I recommend buying it and starting with creams (TOBS, Proraso, Cella, etc.), as it easily produces rich lather.

    I was torn between this and the Trafalgar T3. Without any specific reason, I chose this one. It's really good. I have no issues at all. It dries quickly, holds a lot of water and lather. It's incredibly soft but also has resistance when you need it. Personally, I use it with shaving creams and not hard soaps, but it doesn't seem to have any problem even with the harder ones.
