    It makes very good contact underneath, it has no gaps. Good construction, lightweight, plastic.

    It doesn't have too many buttons - they are all programmable by the camera.

    It also has a button to lock its buttons so you don't make mistakes.

    Now, why should you get it.

    - To impress (the world or your client) when shooting videos or photos.

    - To have an extra battery, therefore extra time, something you don't really need in the om-1 because the battery lasts a long time.

    - To take many vertical photos.

    - For better grip of the camera.
