The Snugpak Journey Solo tunnel tent is designed for one person and winter mountaineering. The inner tent is pitched first, followed by the outer flysheet. In the summer months, the inner tent can be used on its own for protection from mosquitoes and other insects. It has one door and a hydrostatic head rating of 4000 mm.

The flysheet is made from 75D 185T PU-coated polyester with a fire-retardant treatment, while the floor is made from 210T PU-coated polyester and has a hydrostatic head rating of 5000 mm. The seams are heat-sealed. The package includes an additional groundsheet, two lightweight poles with press-fit joints, 19 Y-shaped pegs, a repair kit and a compression sack.
