Thrakon Status Basewood wood preservative prepares wooden surfaces before varnishing and penetrates deep into the pores of the wood. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it can be applied to doors, windows, frames, cladding, beams, roofs, fences, pergolas and garden furniture. It protects against moisture, rain and ultraviolet radiation, while allowing the wood to breathe and accommodating its expansion and contraction.

Its elasticity helps prevent cracking and peeling. Its penetrating power helps create an even surface for the topcoat varnish.
