The Vorel self-amalgamating insulation tape is used to join, terminate and repair electrical cables and wires. Suitable for sealing telecommunications cables and outdoor RTV, TV-SAT and alarm installations, as well as for insulating, sealing and protecting electrical components.

It is also used for the electrical insulation of high-voltage wires, protecting metal pipes against corrosion, and protecting connections and solder joints from seawater. For DIY projects, it can be used to wrap handles and repair pipes.
