The Erlikon Supercito basic-type electrode has a yield of 115% and is suitable for cohesive joints with high resistance to cracking. It can also be used on steels with a carbon content of up to 0.4%. It offers good welding characteristics in all positions, and the slag is easy to remove.

Suitable for welding unalloyed and fine-grained structural steels, boiler plates, pipeline steels, shipbuilding steels and cast steels. Preheating to 150–300 °C is required, depending on the plate thickness.
