Revell offers fast-drying eco-friendly paints that can be used for painting models and miniatures. These are water-based paints that do not harm the exterior surface of plastic models. The paints are thinned with a maximum of 20 to 25% water, while the use of Aqua Thinner (R39612) is recommended for thinning. It also acts as a stabilizer and protects the paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun, should it be used.
- All colors (except for signal colors) can be mixed to achieve different shades or thinned with Revell Color Mix.
- The paint can be applied with both a brush and a spray gun.
- Water-based paints cannot be mixed with varnishes.
