From the packaging, it must have been used and had years of use. The plastic body had polymerized. I kept it because I needed it immediately

So, I've been searching for a quality cutter for a long time now that will last me for years. I had narrowed it down to this one and a Bosch one, which had the best reviews on Amazon. However, this particular one, even though it's supposed to be German, doesn't seem much different from a relatively good Chinese one at first glance. It's good ergonomically and in terms of size, and the switch that opens to take out the extra blades is nice, but... It has a slight wobble sideways only, not up and down, on the folding part, meaning the front metal part, not too much to hinder cutting, but I expected it to be fully stable as a German product. The plastic parts are average, and the metal switch on top that you open to change the blade is relatively hard and scratches the metal underneath it. I simply expected something better in terms of construction, especially in this specific area. So, I consider 24 euros quite enough because construction-wise it doesn't feel "German" to me. At least it comes with 5 other blades in its case and another 10 extras. Maybe there's something of the same quality for half the price.
