Description

Dynamic cardioid vocal microphone Shure SM58S with switch. It is the most recognizable microphone with which most artists have sung.

The package includes a clip and a plastic carrying case.

The indestructible legend

The SM58 is a legend among dynamic vocal microphones.

Introduced in 1966, it continues to be an industry standard to this day. Shure's microphone is the first choice among professional and amateur musicians worldwide, thanks to its clear sound and robust construction.

Excellent Sound

When it comes to speech or vocals, the tailored frequency response of the SM58S ensures a clear and dynamic sound, with a boost in midrange presence and a slight reduction in bass, thus enhancing transparency.

Its cardioid polar pattern primarily focuses on the front axis and greatly suppresses unwanted sound sources from the sides and rear, providing excellent protection from environmental noise.

Additionally, the built-in windscreen and pop filter significantly reduce wind interference.

Road-tested

The Shure SM58 is reliable for everything, even more so when things get tough. Its robust construction, steel mesh grille, and enameled metal body effectively protect it from the challenging daily use on stage - and the built-in pneumatic shock-mount system significantly reduces the impact of bumps, handling noise, and vibrations.

At the center of attention

Microphones are more or less sensitive to sounds arriving from different angles. This directional sensitivity is an important characteristic of the microphone and falls into a defined category of polar patterns.

Different polar patterns adapt to different recording or live broadcasting sources. Singers naturally prefer microphones that focus on their voice and suppress as much environmental noise as possible.

Cardioid microphones, which derive their name from their heart-shaped polar pattern and by definition favor sound sources coming from the front, are ideal for this purpose - especially because they suppress unwanted noises coming from the sides or back of the microphones, thus limiting feedback issues.

  • It is Shure and it is a great microphone! It was recommended to me by much more experienced people than me and I am glad I listened to them! (usage, singing outdoors)

Unbelievable really! Truly powerful microphone with exceptionally good sound! If you want something even more professional and high-quality, then Shure beta 58a for better hand canceling (no sound from the hands at all). Although there is no significant difference in sound. They are almost the same!
