If someone already has holes in a vertical arrangement, this won't work for you; new holes need to be made horizontally. The company could have anticipated this and made two vertical holes (in the brass base).
The system is held by a central post that protrudes from the base, unlike most products in the same category (which have two mounting points).
The positive is that it seems durable; the negative is that the hole where it fits onto the base is a bit larger and the screw needs to be tightened well so the sponge holder doesn't "wobble."
Overall, it seems good, of good quality, but personally I don't like that it is loose and moves left-right. It would get 5/5 if it were more stable.
