What are the characteristics of melamine?

A material made from non-toxic substances, it is odorless, environmentally safe, lightweight, with color stability, good gloss, rounded edges, and smooth to the touch.

  • Heat resistance: -20 °C to +120 °C.
  • Low thermal conductivity.
  • Self-extinguishing fire protection.
  • Impact resistance.
  • High surface hardness, does not easily deform.
  • Water resistance.
  • Good washing resistance, can be cleaned in a designated dishwasher.
  • Good corrosion resistance to acids and alkalis.
  • Good resistance to grease, acid, alkalis, and various solvents.
  • Not affected by oil, gasoline, and organic solvents.

Cleaning and storage:

  • Can be cleaned with a designated dishwasher or a soft cloth. Do not use powder and brush.
  • Long-term exposure to high temperatures will damage the surface.
  • It is recommended to soak for about 15 to 20 minutes in warm water at 30 °C ~ 40 °C.
  • Boiling and disinfection can easily cause alteration of the product. If sterilization by boiling is required, shorten it to a minimum time and avoid prolonged boiling.
  • After packaging and storage, they should be kept in a cool, dry, and ventilated area.
