The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens is a prime wide-angle lens for Fujifilm X Mount, featuring autofocus driven by a stepping motor. Its optical design of 16 elements in 13 groups includes FLD and SLD glass elements, as well as aspherical elements, to limit optical aberrations and maintain sharpness throughout the aperture range. The Super Multi-Layer coating reduces reflections and ghosting, while the rounded 9-blade aperture creates smooth bokeh in out-of-focus areas.

The stepping motor delivers smooth autofocus during video recording. The mount is sealed to protect against dust and splashes, while the metal bayonet mount is made of brass. A lens hood is included.

    Excellent addition to the X-mount as its Fujifilm counterpart costs twice as much new or +100-200 used without being visually better (although it is structurally). The only negative is that it is slightly heavier and bulkier compared to most fixed lenses of the system. Also, very nice black and white imaging.
