The powerful steam and continuous steam supply with 8.0 bar pressure handle even the most difficult fabrics with ease. Stubborn creases will disappear with an extra shot of steam where necessary. This steam shot is ideal for vertical ironing, for example on curtains.

Forget the burns

Thanks to the OptimalTEMP technology featured in the Philips PSG7040/10 ironing system, burns are now a thing of the past, even if the hot plate remains on the clothes or the ironing board.

Temperature setting adjustments are a thing of the past

The OptimalTemp technology, apart from ensuring protection from burns and shine marks on clothes, now makes it possible to iron with just one temperature setting. You no longer need to separate fabrics or change settings while waiting for the iron's temperature to adjust. Iron confidently from jeans to delicate silks with just one setting.

Easy descaling

The integrated Smart Calc Clean descaling system, featured in the Philips ironing system, will remind you when it is time to descale, and a special container is included in the package to make the process even easier and safer.

    It doesn't iron properly, not even kitchen towels. Maybe the fact that it doesn't have a temperature control makes it weak and ineffective. Never can any garment be ironed without leaving crease marks in the end... Stay away
