I did extensive market research before deciding to purchase the GX-100 six months ago. What I can say after six months with the Boss GX-100 is that it is the best value for money in terms of modeler/multifx units currently available on the market. It may not have as many amp models as other modelers, but the ones it does have are more than enough to meet your every need, regardless of the genre of music you play. Especially the 3 X-Amps, which are Boss originals (not simulations of existing amplifiers), give you the feeling of playing through a tube amplifier. It is unnecessary to say anything about the effects, as we are talking about Boss. What impressed me about the GX-100 is how easily and quickly you can create high-quality patches. The color touchscreen definitely helps with this. Personally, I use the GX-100 in manual mode. This means I select the amplifier and cabinet I want, and then assign the various effects I want in my patch (wah, compressor, overdrive, chorus, phaser, delay, reverb, etc.) to the footswitches of the pedalboard, and I activate or deactivate them according to the needs of the song I am playing, as if I had a regular analog pedalboard at my feet. In terms of construction, the GX-100 is built like a tank. You can use it comfortably and fearlessly in live environments. I have used the GX-100 with headphones, connected to the fx return of my amplifier, and as a sound card for recordings, and the sound has always been amazing and a source of inspiration.
Έκανα μεγάλη ερευνά αγοράς πριν καταλήξω να αγοράσω το GX-100 πριν από 6 μήνες. Αυτό που θα πω μετά από 6 μήνες με το Βoss GX-100 είναι ότι είναι πιο value for money υπάρχει σε modeler/multifx unit αυτή την στιγμή στη αγορά. Μπορεί να μην έχει τον αριθμό amp models που έχουν άλλα modelers, αλλά αυτά που έχει είναι υπεραρκετά να για να καλύψουν την κάθε σου ανάγκη ανεξάρτητος τι είδος μουσική παίζεις Ειδικά τα 3 Χ-Amps τα όποια είναι της Boss (δεν είναι sim κάποιου υπαρκτό ενισχυτή) σου δίνουν την αίσθηση ότι πήζεις με λαμπάτο ενισχυτή. Ότι και να πω για τα εφέ είναι περιττό από την στιγμή που μιλάμε για Boss. Αυτό που μου έκανε εντύπωση με το GX-100 είναι ποσό εύκολα και γρήγορα δημιουργείς ποιοτικά patches. Σε αυτό σίγουρα βοηθά και η έγχρωμη οθόνη αφής. Εγώ προσωπικά χρησιμοποιώ το GX-100 σε manual mode. Δηλαδή θα επιλέξω τον ενισχυτή που θέλω με την καμπίνα που θέλω και μετά αναθέτω στους διακόπτες της πεταλιέρας τα διάφορα εφέ που θέλω να έχω στο patch μου (wah, compressor, overdrive, chorus, phaser, delay, reverb κτλ) και τα ενεργοποιώ ή τα απενεργοποιώ ανάλογα με της ανάγκες του τραγουδιού που παίζω σαν να έχω στα πόδια μου μια κανονική αναλογική πεντόλιρα. Από κατασκευή το GX-100 είναι φτιαγμένο να σαν τεθωρακισμένο. Το χρησιμοποιείς άνετα και άφοβα σε live περιβάλλον. Έχω χρησιμοποίηση το GX-100 με ακουστικά, συνδεμένο στο fx return του ενισχυτή μου και σαν κάρτα ήχο για ηχογραφήσεις και πάντα o ήχος ήταν φωτιά και πηγή εμπνεύσεις.
