Theotokaria are books that contain collections of hymns to the Most Holy Theotokos.

As the "Theotokarion" of the Church, the one composed by Saint Nikodemos the Hagiorite has been established, who collected from the manuscript Theotokaria of the Monasteries of Mount Athos rules in the eight tones for each day of the week, and wove with them - as he himself says - like with flowers of a beautiful garden, a multicolored, fragrant, and flower-adorned wreath for the Theotokos, the queen of the heavens.

This carefully edited and improved edition of the sacred Theotokarion was made based on the first edition of 1796 by Saint Nikodemos the Hagiorite, to the glory of the Lady Theotokos and for the benefit of all Christians.
