Despite the progress and achievements made in the fields of child psychology and education, the conditions under which children are born, develop, and are educated today are becoming increasingly negative.

The crisis our society is experiencing and the erosion of values and institutions distort the environment in which the education of children and youth takes place, resulting in the most directly responsible entities, the family and the school, often being unable to prevent adverse and sometimes devastating effects on the younger generation.
