I had the first version of this mouse, from 2018 with a 75 euros pricetag, was super happy about. It had a heavy solid steel base in black, 3 removable steel weights and a wide grip for my large hand. Loved it but it started to double click (about 1 in five clicks) after only a year. I kept it because I could not find any other gaming mouse as wide, steardy and heavy until now.
Found the new model at 38 euros and bought it. Although it has exactly the same dimensions, it has an aluminum base in silver and plastic weights, still solid but significantly lighter than the old one. The old one without the weights is heavier than the new one with the weights. I tried to put the old weights in the new, they do not fit because they are taller by 2 millimetres and the screws are offset with the base. The left and right click are softer and the "sniper" key on the side is smaller in the new. The software from Corsair is trash, download it one time, set the settings as you like, save it in the firmware of the mouse and deleted it.

I have all the M65s from the first Gunmetal with the 6400dpi LASER sensor up to this one. ALL had an issue with the middle button. Every two years I changed them because of that. This time the M65 Pro started making misclicks on the left click, so it was time for a change.

Let's move on to today. This mouse, although it remains in the same philosophy, has some things that already bother me as a hardcore M65 user since 2012.

First, the side plastic in front of the Sniper button has been noticeably reduced, with my hand constantly touching metal and the edge of the plastic. The way I hold the mouse has completely changed.
Although the size is almost the same, the curve has changed slightly and the mouse buttons are now separated from the body and not continuous. I feel that this mouse is now cheaper with much worse and less precise handling.
The buttons above the sniper button have grown and moved slightly further back, resulting in the thumb needing more time and distance to reach them. The position of the sniper button has also changed, now being higher and requiring a fully conscious press, whereas before my thumb was always on it.

What has improved? The cable is better. Other than that, NOTHING that directly improves the user experience. Everything related to that has gotten worse.

That is, the grip of the scroll wheel has improved. The DPI changers have improved, it has become a mouse for people with smaller hands, the lighting is much better. The sound of the switches on the right and left click is better. The 18,000dpi sensor became 26,000dpi (I laugh). Who really cares about these?

A mouse came out for nothing, just with programmable tilt sensors. Sorry, it wasn't something I needed.
From me, 2 stars and that's generous...

It's not bad for the money. I use it on WINDOWS 10 without its software though because it was causing me various minor issues.

    Fast responses and accuracy.
The weights are very good; you can adjust them to be as heavy as you want
