Excellent product for anyone who streams, games, or generally wants to automate tasks on their computer.
I wanted it for streaming as extra shortcuts, and it has made things much easier for me.
The Elgato Pedal is very sturdy and stable, while the 3 pedals can be fully programmed through the Elgato Stream Deck Software. You can assign hotkeys, macros, change scenes in OBS, mute/unmute your microphone, sound effects, and many other actions.
It’s especially practical for streaming, because you can perform actions without taking your hands off the keyboard or controller.
The Smart Profiles are also very useful, as they can change automatically depending on the application you’re using.
It’s also a plus that you can change the springs to adjust the pedals’ resistance, and together with the anti-slip feet, they keep it stable in place.
The only downside is the price, since you’re essentially paying quite a lot for a device with just 3 buttons.
If you’re going to make use of the macros and automations, though, it’s worth it.
Overall: A very high-quality and useful tool for streamers. It isn’t essential for everyone, but if you find uses for the 3 pedals, it quickly becomes one of the most practical accessories in your setup.
