The Ledvance LED tube replaces T8 fluorescent tubes with a G13 base and operates in luminaires with an electromagnetic CCG ballast or directly on an AC mains supply, without rewiring the CCG. The integrated 5.8 GHz microwave sensor detects motion at distances of up to 5 m. After 5 minutes without detection, the brightness dims to 20%, and the light switches off 7 minutes after the last detection.

The glass tube does not bend, and the special PET coating provides shatter protection. The lamp has low flicker in accordance with EU Regulation 2019-2020 and is suitable for enclosed luminaires and operation at ambient temperatures from -20 °C to +50 °C. It is used for general lighting in corridors, stairwells, garages and car parks, warehouses, and logistics and transport facilities.
