The brand-new Nexave FI was introduced a few months ago and has just arrived in our country. With many changes from its predecessor FE, it is presented renewed both in appearance and technology, setting the bar high in the mid-range category of mechanisms. 

Its modern design and appearance, as well as its even smoother and softer operation, refer to models of a much higher category of the Japanese company. 

The new body it features, even smaller than the previous model, is made of XT-7 material which will provide high durability but also low weight, while the AR-C aluminum spool will contribute to the best possible achievement of long casts.

    I bought it for 75 euros, at the same time I bought a Shimano fx 4000 for 25 euros. After 2 to 2.5 years and minimal use, it jammed and was hard to reel in, and when I opened it I found a screw unscrewed which was hitting the gears and obviously damaged them. The official representative in Thessaloniki told me that the warranty does not cover it because I opened it (I accept that) and that it is not worth repairing. In conclusion, for simple bottom fishing, it is better to get a cheap Chinese one from Giannitson street or from the internet and throw it away every year, rather than spend a fortune on this particular piece of junk.
