This review is about the colour: Blue

I come from the Turtle Beach Recon 70, which I have had since 2020, but I haven't used them all the time since I prefer to play with my speakers (so there will also be a comparison between the two), which I am satisfied with (and they have almost the same design as these here), but over the years they started to wear out on the leatherette and that's the main reason I changed them. The Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 are very good, I got the blue ones for €36 and for some reason the white and black ones cost about €70, so I judge according to the price of €36. They connect with a 3.5 audio jack to any device that has this port, and they also have a battery which boosts the power and quality of the sound and bass, and the battery itself has quite good duration. Now, to activate the battery, you have to slide the switch on the left side up for the PlayStation profile or down for the Xbox profile, and in the middle to turn off the battery. Regarding the PS profile, it has a stronger sound and bass than the Xbox, but when the volume is at full and the song playing doesn't have very good sound quality, sometimes it crackles and gets muffled in the highs and bass, while in the Xbox profile the sound is lower but doesn't have these crackles. Generally, the bass makes the headphones vibrate on the ears, especially when on the PS profile, as it is quite deep and of good quality. Finally, regarding the sound, when the battery is off, the headphones still work but from the sound source, such as the Xbox controller I have or my phone via the 3.5 jack, like any other wired headphone but with flat and weaker sound and bass (this is about how the Recon 70s are, but their sound is fine, not bad at all). Be careful, if you have the battery on even without any sound playing, it will drain. Now, regarding the build quality, I would say it is quite good, I feel it has good plastic and inside the headband there is metal, they have a nice carbon-like finish, their color, midnight blue, is very, very nice, at least for me. The microphone is of good quality and its plastic doesn't creak against the rest of the headset when I lower it (like the Recon 70s do, at least mine, I don't know if this happens to others). It's not one of those that reach your mouth but up to the middle of your cheek, so there's no way my voice gets muffled when I talk to a friend. It also has soft fabric cushions so your ears don't sweat compared to leather ones, but because they're a bit smaller than my ears, after a while they start to hurt and I have to move the headphones a bit. As for buttons, on the left earcup there is the button for switching profiles between PS and Xbox - battery activation, a wheel for monitoring my voice through the microphone, and one for volume, and I hope this one doesn't get the same issue as the Recon 70s, meaning when the wheel is all the way up only one earcup works, so to have both working properly I have to lower the wheel just a bit. As for weight, I would say they're not heavy nor very light since they have the battery which adds a bit of weight. That's it, I hope I covered anyone interested. So I give it 4 out of 5 because of the size of the ear pads (if I could, I would give it 4.5 out of 5).
