The Sansula kalimba belongs to the family of kalimbas and is just as easy to play as a regular kalimba. It is patented as the free suspension of the sound block is a unique invention. Since its appearance in 2001, the Sansula quickly became a bestseller.

The unique sound and the distinct shape are the key elements that make the Sansula kalimba stand out. The oval frame is made from laminated beech wood and is covered with a sound membrane.

The HOKEMA Sansula Renaissance Melody kalimba features:

• REMO synthetic membrane, much more robust compared to that of the basic Sansula models.
• Raised wooden edge instead of the elastic tension cord around the base.

The sound block on the membrane ensures a soft and long-lasting tone that can be produced with ease. Additionally, an impressive "wah-wah" effect can be achieved by opening and closing the bottom of the frame.

The Sansula Renaissance Melody kalimba has 11 notes and is accurately tuned to the G scale, allowing for the playability of many well-known melodies. Tuning: G major, 440 Hz.
