Excellent headphones for gaming but also for work, they do the job perfectly, I recommend buying them without hesitation!!!

Their sound is just fine and quite satisfactory in 3D sound so you can tell where the sound is coming from, but only after you set them up with the Razer app; otherwise, it's quite mediocre in this aspect.
BUT it has a huge drawback and from what I researched on various sites about this product, it has happened in several batches. The problem is that when you're on a call with others, e.g. on Discord, anything you hear from the headphones is heard by others. Even when you have only the mic and the sound coming out of the speakers, the same issue occurs. Its audio jack is problematic and picks up PC sounds from the microphone jack. The issue can be minimized with some settings but it never fully goes away. After 6 months of use and trying to fix it, even by buying a different jack splitter, nothing worked. The issue became tiresome.

Conclusion:
- Perfect for sound if you play alone
- Useless if you play or are often on calls with friends

The Razer app is a bit of a hassle to activate the 7.1 surround sound; you need the two barcodes found on their packaging to register it through Razer's website, but once you complete this step, the sound you get is exactly what the product promises. I have some reservations regarding the build quality; I've only had them for six months, nothing has happened to them yet, but time will tell how this thin leatherette used as padding will hold up, because in the past, all Razer headphones I had would shed like old hens. For their price, you get a decent result in terms of sound with plenty of customization options. There's also a voice volume switch on the left earcup where you can even go above the 100% volume your source provides. The microphone is flexible but cannot be hidden, just so you know. If I notice anything else, I will update.

Perfect. Really, for the money you pay, you get a very good device. They are very comfortable and don't press on your head. Additionally, they have 7.1 surround sound which you enable through the app (be careful, you have to register them on the Razer site first). The only bad thing is that the microphone is not that good, but what can you do, we're talking about a headset microphone

I haven't made extensive use yet (mainly of the microphone). In terms of sound, they are satisfactory, although somewhat "muffled" in performance, and with good ambient isolation given that they are not active noise cancellation. So far, at current temperatures, they are quite comfortable, after more than two hours I feel a bit of heat/sweat, but not to an uncomfortable degree. Satisfying cable length.
I remove one star because the product information said that the microphone is detachable, but it is not (this had influenced my choice to some extent).

The Razer V2 X headphones are the most effective and affordable headphones out there on the market. Good quality for their price with leather and not cheap plastic, not enough bass which for some is a good thing, comfortable and very good. I got them today and I am amazed, in all games I sound perfect and I also hear music very well. What was the nicest, most effective, and useful thing for me was the little microphone part that doesn't make the 'boof boof' sounds and the breaths, and you feel nice when you talk

Nice sound, perhaps the only negative is that the cable is very thin without any protection and may wear out easily in the future with use.

I've had them for years, light use. And as shown in the photo, except for the dust, they're like new. I don't think they'll ever get damaged. The metal parts on the headband make them indestructible.
As for the sound and calls, I have no complaints.

They have a long cable, yes
they can also be plugged into other devices that support aux (jack)
but they have only one flaw... they don't have volume and that's where the dream ends. They needed a bit more, I've used cheaper zero ground and they were by far better, but with those, the ear pads broke within a year.

Headset is advertised as 7.1 surround with proper software. Who would have known that to acquire said software I would have have to 1. Create an account at Razer website 2. Peel off padding from headset to see serial number 3. Register that serial number to their website 4. Be e-mailed serial-code to activate software, after downloading it 5. Place padding on headset, with great difficulty. All other companies distribute their software freely.

For their price, they are very good; they are headphones for anyone who wants headphones and doesn't want to spend 100-150€

Lowkgenuinely these are so fire, especially considering how cheap they are I think at this price point they’re the best you’ll find, the mic quality is the standard headset mic you’d expect nothing fancy, my friends on vc said it was ass lol so I suggest using them with a seperate mic if you’re gaming or recording but I can hear everything so clearly, listening to music with these is great same for playing video games especially rhythm games. If you’re thinking of getting these go get them! I used to have some jbl ones before these as well as some razer ones and these are much better

For the money I paid for it (about €40) it is quite good, for more money I believe it is not worth it as it is sold in most stores on the market... at the very least, you should be able to adjust the height when you wear them.

My voice sounds worse than it does when I use the laptop's microphone and everything sounds to me as if it's underwater

They are 100% worth their money, very good sound, very good. My son has them and listens to music, plays games. I also tried them a few times and they have very good acoustics, they adapt easily to any ear, microphone is just fine for calls from the mobile or talking, everything is perfect. Nice green color, I have nothing else to say.

After about 1 year, they developed a problem. If I have the volume in the center, exactly where the wheel clicks, the sound from the left earphone disappears. I was forced to change headset.
