Salep is perfect for making kaymak ice cream and dondurma, as well as for brewing. It is simply prepared using 2 cups of water or milk and 12g of salep (one packet). The process involves mixing the ingredients until the salep dissolves and then boiling. Once it thickens, it is removed from the heat while continuously stirring. It is served warm.
