Featuring a continuously variable polar pattern control that seamlessly sweeps from omnidirectional to cardioid to figure-8, continuously variable pad (0 to -10 dB), and continuously variable high-pass filter (20 Hz to 150 Hz), it can easily adapt to a wide variety of recording scenarios, giving you full control over the microphone's sound. The surface-mount electronics of sound quality combined with a dual 1-inch gold-sputtered capsule provide extremely low self-noise (7dBA) and a maximum SPL of 147 dB (up to 157 dB with the pad fully engaged), ensuring exceptional results on any sound source.

    An excellent microphone for its price. I have had it for 13 years and it is the best microphone I could have for a home studio.

    It perfectly captures the dynamics and frequency ranges, although I would describe its sound as a bit "harsh". The continuously adjustable polar pattern selector is probably unique to this model.

    It includes a spider-type support base.
