Regarding my experience in the literally 20 minutes I've had it:
I bought 2 with the idea of playing Mario Party multiplayer with 4 people. While it works fine in another game I tried (Hogwarts Legacy), when it pairs with Mario Party open, the controller immediately shuts off. I'll keep one for when I play on the TV, for the second one I requested a return since it would just gather dust for no reason!
Regarding the quality: I have no opinion about the battery. It works on mobile! It doesn't feel fake in your hands and the feel of the buttons is much superior compared to the joycons.

It is excellent! It connects directly to the Switch and also has motion controls, and on the PC it also connects very easily via USB or Bluetooth. It has USB C charging and the battery lasts quite a long time
