The law 4818/2021 (Government Gazette A’ 124/18.7.2021) quickly brought about many changes with its provisions. There were also some minor changes, mainly with law 4821/2021. All of these are recorded in this issue, which, however, is limited to the main bankruptcy legislation and simple, primarily, references to other related legislations.

It is also known that with the law 4738/2020, which carries the rather misleading title "Debt Regulation and Provision of a Second Chance," a new Bankruptcy Code was introduced in our country. This code finally came into effect on 1.3.2021, while for some of its specific provisions the start of its effectiveness was set for 1.6.2021. Thus, law 3588/2007 was repealed, which had already suffered many blows.

The further legislative developments (with the coming into effect of the aforementioned, mainly, law 4818/2021) thus created the need for this new edition of the present issue. The goal of producing comprehensive, user-friendly, easily replaceable, economical codes of commercial legislation continues to be our main objective.
