The SKS Tools 58568 timing tool set is designed for adjusting and locking timing components in VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda engines. It covers 1.2 6V, 1.2 12V, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 1.8T and 2.0 16V petrol engines, as well as 1.2, 1.4, 1.9 and 2.0 TDI PD diesel engines, plus 1.7, 1.9 D/TD/SDI/TDI and 2.5 V6 TDI engines.
It includes camshaft adjustment tools, timing belt and injection pump locking tools, an adjustable tensioner wrench, a pump locking pin, a tensioner plate, a crowfoot socket for diesel injectors, and adjustment and locking pins. The timing tools are used as guides for the camshaft and crankshaft timing marks; a holding tool is required to tighten and loosen the gears.
