The ICC-SH-BONE-BLT is a high-quality Bluetooth headset with bone conduction technology. The function of bone conduction headsets is completely different from that of regular headphones. Instead of being inserted into the ear canal or placed over the outer ear, these headsets are positioned at the junction of the upper and lower jaw. Sounds bypass the eardrum and reach directly to the middle ear canal and then to the cochlea, the innermost part of the ear.

This way, bone conduction headsets are safer as they allow you to hear what is happening around you. Additionally, by using the jaw and jaw bones, they secure the eardrum, preventing injuries from very loud sounds.
